CENTURY CELEBRATIONS FOR DR CYNTHIA PHILLIPS AT HILTON PARK

Celebrations have been in full swing at Hilton Park Care Centre as one of its residents reaches her centenary in style.

Dr Cynthia Phillips was joined by staff, relatives and other residents as she received a telegram from the Queen in recognition of her landmark birthday. An Afternoon Tea was held at the home and guests enjoyed cake and a special Trifle made by the home’s chef Rob Lindsay.

Reflecting on reaching this special birthday Dr Cynthia said: “I do not really have any tips but I always enjoyed hill walking when I was younger and have a reason to get up every day!”

Narcis Militaru, General Manager of Hilton Park Care Centre added: “We’re delighted to be celebrating a truly remarkable woman as Dr Cynthia reaches this amazing milestone and hope that she enjoys her special trip out that has been organized.”
