Sandbach Care Home celebrates success in CQC Report

Community Integrated Care’s St Stephen’s Care Home in Sandbach, Cheshire is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

The team at St Stephen’s Care Home were delighted to receive such an impressive CQC Report that rated the home ‘good’ in all areas demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for the people they support which are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The inspectors were full of praise of the caring way that people supported in the home were treated with kindness and respect. Comments received from family members included: "staff seem to really care and are very kind"; "It's lovely, they are always there when you need help"; "The staff are wonderful".

Inspectors also commented on how well staff knew the people they cared for people which was evident from comments they received during the inspection from the people living at St Stephen's and their visitors, comments included, "They seem to know (relative), they talk about (relative's) love of gardening".
