Residents in Aaron Crest care home in Skelmersdale were recently visited by 'Home Safari' who are a local group who specialise in animal-assisted therapy.

They brought in 6 different animals a rabbit, tortoise, lizard, tenrec, skinny pig and a skunk. They were introduced to the residents who loved holding and stroking them and finding out all about them.

There are lots of animal lovers amongst the residents and they enjoyed seeing animals they had never seen before.
