I have worked in a variety of roles in the care sector since 2009, starting as a care assistant and becoming a manager in 2017. I joined Hill Care in 2022 as manager of Barnfield Care Home before moving to Lancashire where I became manager of Aaron Crest. I have achieved several qualifications throughout my career which amongst others include a Degree in Health and Social Care Management and a Dementia Leadership Award.
My proudest moments include assisting someone who had been severely self-neglected to reach their rehab potential resulting in them going home to live independently. Seeing staff progress to take on new roles and seeing a peaceful end-of-life journey for my residents.
I believe you should treat everyone as you would want to be treated and aim to make our resident's lives as happy and meaningful as possible. My interests include -Tissue viability, end of life and Dementia Care.
