Baycroft Fairfield donates £500 award prize to Dementia UK

Dementia UK will benefit from the award nomination of Baycroft Fairfield care home. The home has been selected as a finalist in the Best New Care Home category of the care home ‘Oscars’, the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards, which comes with a £500 donation for a local charity.

Baycroft and Dementia UK are both dedicated to providing specialist dementia support so we are really pleased to be able to support them.”

Dementia UK provides Admiral Nurses for families affected by dementia across the UK, so this £500 donation will make a huge difference to the families we support, we really appreciate it.”

Nomination for the Pinders Awards is a major achievement for a newcomer to the care home market. The award submission included a description of the home’s key objectives and how these have been achieved with reference to aspects such as resident comfort/wellbeing/choice, design features and innovation, meeting market requirements and aesthetic features.

The residential, nursing and dementia home offers its 75 residents their own bespoke en-suite bedroom within luxury surroundings and hotel standard services, including an on-site cinema, library, hair salon, activities room, entertainment room for visiting children and a spa treatment room. Residents can also enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens and a luxury dining area where fresh, locally sourced and seasonal meals are served.
