Virtual entertainment success in care home

Barchester Healthcare is organising monthly a number of live virtual events throughout 2021 to support their residents and activities teams in their care homes across the UK.

Residents at The Spires in Lichfield thoroughly enjoyed their virtual entertainment in 2020 and are looking forward to many more exciting events this year. Some of the talks and events that are planned are live from Blenheim Palace and Hereford cathedral for services. Events in February and March so far are: 11th Feb (Valentine's Special) - Lust and Laudanum from Antonia at Blenheim Palace 17th Feb (Ash Wednesday) - Borders Abbeys talk - looking at the ruined and magnificent Abbeys around the Scottish Border - from Historic Environment Scotland 8th March (International Women's Day) - Women in history - from Historic Environment Scotland.
