Mother’s Day arts and crafts at Cradley Heath Care Home

Resident’s at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home in Cradley Heath has been busy preparing for Mothering Sunday with special arts and crafts sessions.

Some Residents decided that they would like to make their very own cards for Mother’s Day on Sunday 14th March. Jean chose to draw around her own hand to create a unique flower design for her card, while others used felt, buttons and a variety of colours for their designs.

Everyone was pleased with their finished cards and enjoyed sharing their favourite memories of celebrating Mother’s Day. One Resident said: “The cards are beautiful and they were a joy to make.”

Roxburgh House Home Manager, Linda Wilkes said: “It’s lovely to see our Residents using their creative side to make thoughtful cards for themselves or loved ones.”
