‘Life as we knew it’ returns for Hamilton care home Residents

Residents at HC-One’s Douglas View care home in Hamilton are enjoyed getting a taste of normality back in their lives coronavirus restrictions continue to be eased.

While there are still some restrictions, life is slowly getting back to normal for our everyone, which is amazing news for the Residents at Douglas View who are enjoying getting out and about once again.

At the moment, Residents are enjoying picnics in their local parks which they are enjoying very much and are looking forward to venturing further afield when it is safe and they are comfortable to do so.

Douglas View Home Manager, Louise Fulton said: “It has been such a difficult year and a half for everyone, we are helping our Residents to build their confidence in returning to life as we knew it before COVID-19, while still keeping them safe and well.”

Located on William Street, Douglas View care home offers short and long term care packages for members of the Hamilton community that require nursing care and nursing memory care for those living with dementia.
