Douglas View Care Home is located in the heart of Hamilton and offers residents nursing and nursing dementia care in a warm and welcoming environment.

From care assistants and nurses, to wellbeing coordinators and chefs, each and every member of the professional care team is on hand to offer all the support that residents need. Working alongside residents as well as their loved ones, they design personalised and bespoke care plans that help to ensure each person is living life the way they choose, with the peace of mind that their care is always a priority.

Spending time getting to know residents' hobbies and interests allows the team to design a comprehensive activity programme, supporting each person to continue to do the things they love. For residents who are more social, an active involvement in the Hamilton community is also highly encouraged.

A spacious home, Douglas View has a cinema and bar for residents to enjoy as well as a selection of eight sitting rooms, six dining areas, a café and hairdressing salon. The lovely landscaped garden and courtyard, tended by some of the residents, are favourite spots to spend time catching up with friends and family.

The home is exactly that. A home where we come and visit mum and her friends. Her friends are the other residents who share her 'lounge' space. It's also the amazing staff who genuinely care for mum. The decor has been refreshed, and it is beautiful. its very satisfying to know your mother is safe and
happy. What more can we ask for.

Mum has been resident here for over 3 years and can't believe how well mum is not only looked after but is cared for so well. Staff know mum extremely well and we take great comfort knowing how well mum is loved and looked after as she would have been at home.

We are very pleased with the care and attention that my dad received at the nursing home. There are always activities and entertainment to keep the residents occupied, including days out for sightseeing and lunch. The tribute acts are also part of the occasions such as Easter, Valentines Day, Mothers
Day and Xmas. The care home has recently been decorated to a high standard. It's lovely and comfy.
