Staff are helpful. Food is very good. Happy with my room and happy living in Douglas View.

We were quite hesitant regarding our relative having to get cared for outside of the family but since day one coming into the premises and meeting the staff and some of the residents we were overjoyed by the atmosphere, the attention the staff gave each person and the cleanliness of the whole place.

Can't praise the staff enough they go above and beyond for my husband. Nothing is too much bother.

I am reasonably happy with my dad's care. He seems content even at this stage in his life 'end of life' care. Dad says he enjoys the food and never complains. Thank you for all the love and support you give my dad - he is very precious.

My husband has settled well in Douglas View. He eats well, sleeps well, and enjoys the events the home puts on.

My relative has been living at Douglas View for the past 2 years. The staff interact with her very well. There are lots of activities to keep her entertained.

Douglas View is a kind, caring environment, and myself and my family are happy with the ongoing care my mum is receiving.

The home is exactly that. A home where we come and visit mum and her friends. Her friends are the other residents who share her 'lounge' space. It's also the amazing staff who genuinely care for mum. The decor has been refreshed, and it is beautiful. its very satisfying to know your mother is safe and happy. What more can we ask for.

My mum has been well taken care of with all the staff. We couldn't wish for a better place for her in her later years of her life. I am very pleased we chose this care home.

I have been visiting for 5 months and I can honestly say that my experience and that of the rest of my family is very positive. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They are kind and caring. The services provided are above and beyond, from outings to entertainment, they do their best to include everyone and to give everyone a happy experience.

Nice to see him in the garden with sunshine. He loved the gardening places and vegetables. Looks well and cared for. The staff are a credit.

Mum has been resident here for over 3 years and can't believe how well mum is not only looked after but is cared for so well. Staff know mum extremely well and we take great comfort knowing how well mum is loved and looked after as she would have been at home.

We are very pleased with the care and attention that my dad received at the nursing home. There are always activities and entertainment to keep the residents occupied, including days out for sightseeing and lunch. The tribute acts are also part of the occasions such as Easter, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Xmas. The care home has recently been decorated to a high standard. It's lovely and comfy.

Lovely visit. Staff are helpful and friendly as ever. Plenty of tea, snacks and chat. Please is always clean, tidy and pleasant. Beautiful day so plenty of chairs and sunshine outside.

My experience of my regular visits to my sister in law. I have found the home to be welcoming and the premises to be very clean. My sister in law is well looked after and has settled in well. I would recommend this home to anyone who has someone who has care needs.
