As a family we are highly delighted with the care compasion that we see every time we visit our loved one.

My sister in law has been well cared for in this home the staff are very attentive and caring. They have many activities and music events for the residents.

My mother has been well looked after in this nursing home. The staff are amazing and its well kept clean. The have brilliant entertainment for the resident every week.

All the staff have been nice, helpful and always have time for a little chat. The top floor corner is far too small. Why not open mid-corridor door at pool table so residents can go for a wander up and down the corridor. Food basic, cheap bread for sandwiches. Cakes are nice.

Mum always receives exactly the care she needs. The staff treat her like family and truly make her feel at home.

My brother-in-law has settled well in Douglas View over the last 3 months. They have cared for him well and made him very welcome. He classes it now as his family.

We were quite hesitant regarding our relative having to get cared for outside of the family but since day one coming into the premises and meeting the staff and some of the residents we were overjoyed by the atmosphere, the attention the staff gave each person and the cleanliness of the whole place.

Can't praise the staff enough they go above and beyond for my husband. Nothing is too much bother.

I am reasonably happy with my dad's care. He seems content even at this stage in his life 'end of life' care. Dad says he enjoys the food and never complains.
Thank you for all the love and support you give my dad - he is very precious.

Douglas View is a kind, caring environment, and myself and my family are happy with the ongoing care my mum is receiving.

The home is exactly that. A home where we come and visit mum and her friends. Her friends are the other residents who share her 'lounge' space. It's also the amazing staff who genuinely care for mum. The decor has been refreshed, and it is beautiful. its very satisfying to know your mother is safe
and happy. What more can we ask for.

I have been visiting for 5 months and I can honestly say that my experience and that of the rest of my family is very positive. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They are kind and caring. The services provided are above and beyond, from outings to entertainment, they do their best to
include everyone and to give everyone a happy experience.

Nice to see him in the garden with sunshine. He loved the gardening places and vegetables. Looks well and cared for. The staff are a credit.
