Douglas View Care Home is located in the heart of Hamilton and offers residents nursing and nursing dementia care in a warm and welcoming environment.

From care assistants and nurses, to wellbeing coordinators and chefs, each and every member of the professional care team is on hand to offer all the support that residents need. Working alongside residents as well as their loved ones, they design personalised and bespoke care plans that help to ensure each person is living life the way they choose, with the peace of mind that their care is always a priority.

Spending time getting to know residents' hobbies and interests allows the team to design a comprehensive activity programme, supporting each person to continue to do the things they love. For residents who are more social, an active involvement in the Hamilton community is also highly encouraged.

A spacious home, Douglas View has a cinema and bar for residents to enjoy as well as a selection of eight sitting rooms, six dining areas, a café and hairdressing salon. The lovely landscaped garden and courtyard, tended by some of the residents, are favourite spots to spend time catching up with friends and family.

Mum has settled in great since she came in 5 weeks ago. The staff have been amazing with her and so helpful. They took a few residents including Mum to Parkhead for lunch and she absolutely loved it. She has settled so well.

He has now been in Douglas View for three months. In this time, he has settled in well. His mood and mental capacity have greatly improved. The activity coordinators are energetic and enthusiastic, and he enjoys the many activities that are regularly organised. The nurser care is wonderful. He is well-fed
and clean. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
