I have nothing but good to say about this marvellous care home. I feel I am so lucky that they have been able to accommodate my mother. Inside it is always very clean and bright, the nice garden is a nice place to relax in. Menus and choices for food every day. The best thing about the home is the staff.
Everyone is so very helpful and kind. They are a credit to themselves and this stems from the Manager Rachael. The care and support is excellent, not just to the residents but also their families. Big thank you to you all

I visit here, and I cannot speak highly enough of this care home. From the moment you walk in, you're met with such a warm, friendly welcome and a lovely atmosphere that feels just like home.
The whole team is absolutely wonderful - every member of staff is kind, patient, attentive, and clearly dedicated
to giving the very best care. Both the Managers and the Front of House Manager lead by example; they are approachable, professional, and always go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and every resident feels safe, happy, and valued. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and you can see how much they genuinely care.
The home itself is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with such a positive, calm vibe throughout. The person I visit is always well looked after, content, and has nothing but praise for the support they receive here.
I do and will continue to recommend this care home to anyone looking for outstanding care.

Three years ago we called into Foxton, to find a placement for mum who was 99 years old, in hospital, and unable to go home. Our experience of the home over the years confirmed our first impressions. A senior member of staff showed us round, there was a lovely friendly atmosphere with residents chatting
with staff as they went about their work. Visually the home was fresh and beautifully styled, the dining tables were set with white tablecloths and wine glasses. Everything conveyed a respect for the residents and a desire to maintain their dignity despite their frailty and need of help. The inventive daily activity programme has been important, as has been the good standard and choice of meals. Mum has put on weight!
Although there is a high turnover of staff, who are rotated through the different floors, all seem well informed, able and kind. Communication is good between staff and shifts, and with the family.
We can rest easy knowing mum is receiving good care from skilled workers.
Reply from Avery Gibson, Home Administrator at Foxton Court Care HomeThank you for your lovely comments, we are so pleased that your mum is having such a positive experience at Foxton Court. We aim to make sure that every staff member has knowledge of each of the residents' needs, and we regularly rotate staff between the floors to ensure this. If you have any additional questions regarding staffing, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you

My mam had been in bed at home for 2 years. Carers coming in 4 times a day to feed and change her, not talking much to her. I lived 15 miles away and went in when I could but I worked and 2 sisters lived over 100 miles away.
We had such a job to get her into care because she did not have much money.
I asked if they could get her into Pytchley Court (the council). She went in March and carers from Pytchley came to collect her. The carers were so kind and sat with mam who had not been out of bed in 2 years. I went to sort out mams new room, came through and she was drinking a cup of tea from a cup after being fed like a child at home. This has given my mam a life again. I will never forget what Pytchley have done for my mam.

What can I say, in my case my mum is here, she's very happy here, and has been here for 3 years. The care she receives is 5 star, the carers are great. I can't ask for anything more. Mum calls the carers, her friends so to me as I live in the east midlands puts me and my family at rest knowing she's
happy. She enjoys everything about the home, activities, and her friends.

The manager has a caring attitude and is very understanding and always is available should you need to speak to them. Also the under manager also. And all the staff are helpful and willing to help you if needed. This home from home is excellent. I am so pleased to have my husband Richard here, after
a not very pleasant experience previously, it was hard having to be apart after 65 years of marriage. But I am at peace now knowing he is in a lovely home being cared for with care and dignity. Many thanks to you all.

Summerhill is a very good quality well run residential home for older people. The staff are professional, respectful and well, good fun! The low staff turnover is a testament to the quality but more importantly a real benefit to my mum's sense of ongoing stability and care. There are problems- the room
are small, it's really hard for my mum to manage afternoon outside in good weather, and due to her deafness she is often (more) confused about what's going on or what has been said, discussed or agreed. In short, the brilliant staff are what make Summerhill great.

Came to see my grandma for the first time since she's been at the home, a musical show had just finished and the service users were all given a cup of tea and a bun. The atmosphere of the place was lovely and the staff were all very caring. The maintenance man was making sure with all the residents
that it was ok for him to go in their room and to check what issues they might have had. Everyone knew everyone by name and everyone treated my grandma with kindness and respect. We were shown photos and videos of another recent performance and even found my grandma on the photo wall in one of the boards, she looks like she's having a great time and much happier to see her with people than at home by herself. We were also invited back for the summer fayre a week on Saturday. Thankyou for all you do

Came to see my Mama this afternoon. She was watching a show but two ladies (manager I think) brought her to us and got us all settled in a little corner so we could spend time with her. She looked immaculate and cared for and appeared very happy. Everything about our visit was lovely and everybody couldn't

Such a lovely care home we don't get to visit as much as we would like but when we do we are overwhelmed by the care that is provided for my gran.
The home is lovely and you can see they continue to update the home, we attended the Summer Fete this weekend, our family all got greeted by the Administrator
and Home Manager at reception. The Fete was a brilliant experience you could see how much the residents are well cared for the interactions we witnessed was second to none. There is always a lovely buzz around the place and the staff are so friendly, I spoke to one of the staff who was working at the summer Fete and they told us any money raised goes to the residents, they have bought a large tablet device on wheels, pool tables , arcade machines and lots of other items.
We purchased some home baking at one of the stalls and we sat in the pub, I had never been in this area of the home and couldn't believe how amazing the pub was it was incredible, thank you for taking such great care of gran
