HC-One operates c.275 care homes for elderly people throughout the United Kingdom. Their aim is to be the first choice care home in each community for Residents and Colleagues and will achieve this mission by providing the kindest possible care and a very good life to Residents.

HC-One has developed a robust ‘coronavirus prevention and protection plan for the safety and wellbeing of new Residents, existing Residents, Relatives and Colleagues.

They strive to make a difference to the lives of older men and women in communities across the UK by fostering a culture that actively encourages simple kindness.

Today was Mum's birthday. The care staff at Haywood Lodge have made the day special for mum and her two daughters. Having arranged for us both to have lunch with mum. We were given the garden room. Mum had a birthday cake, a card, a present and the team sang a lovely 'happy birthday' to her.
The thoughtfulness
experienced today is not unusual. We have received nothing but the very best in care, kindness and respect.

An ideally placed purpose built building for delivering care to the elder.
Clean, fresh ,relaxed and friendly environment when you go through the door.
A lovely team of kind friendly staff that make the place feel like home. Plenty of communal or private space to enjoy visits with loved ones. Help
yourself to drinks and cake just like you would visiting a relative in their own home. Garden, cinema room, cafe, bar all available to enjoy.

The minute you walk inside Hepworth house it's like coming home the staff are all happy and you can tell they love there jobs I know my brother is well looked after and has lots of activities to help with his dementia they involve all the family with different things going off .which is lovely. There
is never any smells in the home which is wonderful many thanks from all the family.

Dad has settled into Woodthorpe Lodge very quickly. He is enjoying the company of the other residents and joining in with the activities. The staff are lovely and he is being well cared for. He is happier than he has been for a long time, thank you everyone.

I am extremely pleased with Magna Care Home. Rani and the team are highly professional, welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring towards all residents and their families. Above and beyond care, treating my wife with love, care, compassion kindness and reassuring comfort. All the staff very kind and caring not just for my wife but for all my family too. Went out for the first time as a group, singing and dancing in the Home.

I cannot fault the home for how they treat my husband. My only complaint is that I feel they don't check his pad enough to see if he has done the toilet, other than that they treat him well and look after him. I know that then I leave, that the is in good hands and being looked after.

The staff in the home have been great.They treat us like family and if they see we are struggling they take time out to talk to us and reassure us. They care about their residents and take the time to get to know them and what they like.They also phone me to keep me in the loop if anything has happened
that day. All in all I cannot fault the home or any of the staff. They take great care of my dad and you can see that.

There isn't enough stars to rate dingle meadow i say 10 out of 10
Mom was there for a few years and not once did I have to complain.


All the staff are amazing and you can't say that about many homes.


Now mom's passed away I like to go and see the staff and other residents because it brightens

my day and I hope the residents feel that way too

We chose to bring my dad here for end of life care. Prior to choosing this place, my mum and I dropped in unannounced on a Sunday. They were absolutely wonderful and although we had other care homes to look at, we instantly knew we had found the best place for Dad. He sadly passed away after a short
time, but we couldn't have asked for a better nursing home. The staff are so, so kind, and they couldn't do enough for us. My mum, sister, brother and I were there a lot for Dad's last few days and the staff were so supportive and thoughtful. We simply could not recommend this place enough. It is also in a lovely setting and it's a shame Dad was too ill to see the beautiful views. All the staff are brilliant and we will be forever thankful for their kindness and the way they went above and beyond. I don't know how they do the job they do. They are all very special people and we are very grateful to them for looking after Dad with such care and compassion. Exceptional care home.

My partner is currently a resident on a 28 day delirium pathway. He will be returning home. I cannot praise enough the support, care, compassion and complete friendliness of the team in Milliner unit. The staff are amazing, work tirelessly to ensure the residents needs are met. It really feels like
a family. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the lounge is always full of people relaxing and socialising. We as a family have been welcomed and completely informed and looked after when visiting. Thank you all for everything
