I had been caring for my husband at home but due to his dementia I was struggling. I visited the care home and it was decided that my husband would come in for respite care. It took him a while to settle but the decision was made for him to come a permanent resident. He loves all the singing and dancing
activities in the home. It is good to see him enjoying himself.

I find the staff very caring and seem to know my relative well. The food has improved in choice and there is plenty of it. The management are contactable and listen carefully to any feedback given from me and act upon it. The activitys co-ordinators are always devising new things to include all residents
and are very inclusive helping everyone to join in.

Although my dad was only in Redmill for two weeks, before he passed away, we couldn't have asked for anymore from the staff. From the moment he arrived, every member of staff was friendly, gentle, and genuinely caring. They took time to get to know him, showing him dignity and respect at every step,
and the personal care was exceptional. The home itself was clean, warm, and had a comforting atmosphere and we always felt welcome when we visited. The staff communicated well with us about my dads health, and we were able to rest, feeling reassured that he was being very well looked after - a detail that cannot be outlooked. Thank you!! Even though his time there was short, the compassion shown made a world of difference to us.
We will always be deeply grateful for the outstanding care he received at the end of his life.

I am always pleased when I come to visit my dad. That all his needs are being consistently met is readily apparent. He is content, comfortable and never isolated. The staff genuinely care about the residents and I often see them going above and beyond. I know I can speak to care staff or management
when required and communication is open and transparent, good job Redmill!

I cannot fault any level of the care that my mum has have at Redmill. The staff and management alike, are all very professional and take the care of all the residents as their highest priority. The home is kept spotless. The activities are inclusive and the overall care is first class.

Having visited my brother over a 2 year period we have seen a great improvement in the running and organisation of the home. He relates to all carers and staff involved in looking after him, which gives the family peace of mind knowing the family can relax knowing he is well looked after. Credit must
be given to the manageress and all staff for the care given by them.

From the moment we were shown around, we felt it would be a good place for our dad to live; the residents looked well cared for, and the atmosphere was happy. I recently attended his 8-week review. He was treated with such respect. These are his words:-
* "It's a really good place, a good home. No
complaints".
* "They always speak to me and ask if they can help"
Dad's quality of life has very much improved. Many thanks to the staff; nothing is too much trouble, and you have given his family complete peace of mind.

Redmill Care Home is a truly exceptional facility. From the moment I first walked through the doors, I was met with genuine warmth and kindness, where every member of staff clearly takes pride in their work and contributes to creating a positive, supportive, and welcoming environment for the residents.
This compassionate approach has made what could have been a very emotional and overwhelming experience so much easier for me and my family. The wonderful activities provided for the residents are meaningful and fun, and it is so heartwarming to see how much joy they bring. Music, in particular, creates special moments when musicians visit as the residents light up and the staff join in with such enthusiasm, encouraging everyone to take part. THANK YOU... from the bottom of my heart for the love, kindness, and joy you bring every day as it makes such a difference not just to the residents, but to families like mine who can rest easier knowing their loved ones are truly cherished

When we viewed Redmill Care Home for mum, as soon as we arrived it looked lovely inside, and mums room was just perfect. Everyone has been so helpful and mum has settle in amazingly well. We see a difference in mums health condition due to have a good care level and support.

My dad is a resident here and I am delighted with the care he receives. Everyone is so friendly from the staff to cleaners. There is so much to do loads of activities, always something going on! His room is always spotless its a 10 our of 10 for me.

My husband has been in Linlithgow Care Home for 4.5 years because of dementia. In this time he has deteriorated until he now has to have help with all functions. Since he entered the home he has been very well looked after both physically and mentally. All the staff are very caring and friendly both
to the residents and their families. Any queries about my husbands care are always answered quickly and helpfully.

Sadly, my mum passed away whilst in care at Linlithgow. My "Ma" spent her final months with supportive and caring people after Dementia took its toll.
The Nursing and Administrative staff took the time to look after my mum's needs and supported my family throughout. The staff were always willing to
take time out of their hectic day to keep us informed of any developments in her condition.
As my mum's life came to an end, caring staff were with her in her final moments. Even when the end came, the staff were there for us to answer any questions and help us with a reassuring smile.
I cannot thank them enough.

Mum is becoming more sociable, spending time with the other residents and taking part in the organised activities. When I visited in May she proudly showed me her beautiful nails - she'd had a manicure! I've never seen her wearing nail polish and she was very happy with it. Of course I then had to admire
all her friend's nails as well.

Mum has been a resident for around 3 years was not a very good experience for her or myself, but since new manager has took up the post I have saw vast improvement through out the home and with my mum in particular mum was always known for her lovely dress sense, she now looks well looked after.
