Our loved one recently became a resident at AM. Since our first visit, we have felt nothing but kindness and also very welcome.
All the staff are absolutely lovely and clearly care about the residents. Stephanie runs it very well and is always very welcoming. Debbie, the entertainment coordinator,
is brilliant. With all the events, the residents always have something to do. Debbie involves everyone. Thanks, Deb.

Absolutely amazing staff at the care home. The entertainment manager is doing a fab job organising events. So pleased to see my mam enjoying all the activities, and I like to get involved too. My 10yr old granddaughter, Gwen, loves to visit the home and loves all the residents. Great home.

As always, my overall review is that the home is ran very well and the care the staff show the residents is amazing! My only concern is that sometimes my mum does not have her own clothes on. This is better now because I take my mum's clothes home to wash, and this is much better. The staff do an amazing
job!

Our first visit. On arriving at the care home we found car parking to be very good. The security was excellent on ringing bell to access wards door was opened in seconds, a member of staff asked who we wanted to see and we were shown to a nice area, while she brought the person we were visiting. Looking
around we remarked how clean the home was and how friendly and helpful staff were we chatted to a therapist called Julie told us about activities that they arrange for them. She also showed us dining room which we were very impressed with. The resident we were visiting was quite ill on arrival we were very surprised to see how much she had improved in a short time. Our visit lasted an hour which was most enjoyable. In that time we noted how well the residents looked they were obviously well cared for the home and staff are a credit to you.

The staff are second to none, always empathetic, warm, and friendly. The care of the residents are uppermost as far as these girls and men are concerned. Always some form of entertainment for the residents and family members to attend. Never have any doubts that this care home is run with the utmost
love and care. I, and my wife Elaine can sleep at night, knowing, my Mother-in-law, Eileen, is in the capable hands of this wonderful staff.

My wife Carole is at Parklands. I find the staff all excellent. I know my wife is well cared for. I visit daily and am always welcomed with conversation. I ask for updates about my wife and they always give their time to explain, chat and answer me. I am happy Parklands is in our village and I'm able
to visit daily.

Daughter - My mam is in Parklands. Lovely, warm welcome, friendly staff. No worries! My mam is cared for well, always clean, happy and comfortable. The staff really look after my mam well - it's home from home for her. I'm so grateful we have Parklands in Bedwas, and family and friends can visit. The
social events and fundraisers are good for the well-being of the guests, and they always invite the community, family and friends. Five star.

My mother has been a resident at Church View Care Home from 1st October 2024. She is very frail and has difficulty in walking. I am convinced that her life has been enhanced in terms of quality and longevity by the wonderful care given by the Church View staff. She looks forward to all of the activities
despite her disabilities preventing her from fully participating. She really loves her carers and treats them as dear friends. Such wonderful patient and hard-working people.

I was looking for a nursing home for my mum, who sadly had deteriorated in her health and needed 24 hour care. Mam moved into parklands nursing home on 25/12/2025. When my partner and myself when to view the home, it was amazing the care for the residents of the carers. The home was inviting to family
and Marie the activities coordinator, is a special lady. She goes above and beyond for the residents. My granddaughter Eliza who's 5 loved visiting mam, mam went poorly on the 4/01/2026 and sadly passed 06/01 /2026. The comfort and compassion they gave me and my family up until the day mam passed was very much appreciated. Everyone at parklands nursing home what ever their job, will welcome u with a friendly smile and chat. As a family we are gutted that mam wasn't there long but we were so glad that mam was looked after so well and we will be forever grateful to each and everyone of them xx
