Really nice atmosphere in home. All staff are friendly and supportive. Present when an activity was taking place - seated movement to music, residents were supported and encouraged to take part. Brother-in-Law is always well dressed, clean and well groomed. The home is clean and nicely decorated, and
all furniture is in good order. Regular social events are planned, and residents engage in crafts and cookery activities. Very happy with care provided.

Overall, I think the care given by the staff is amazing!! My only bug bare is that sometimes when I visit my mum, she has someone else's clothes on, I put her name in her clothes, so I don't understand how this happens.

I recently attended a cancer function at my friends home. staff were amazing and the food very welcoming. The icing in the cake was when a person received an award for her help on a daily basis. We were all very proud and her daughter was in tears with pride. Thank you all to who organised. Thank you
for everything you do for the residents.

Our whole experience of Abermill has been absolutely incredible. Both my grandparents have settled in very quickly. I can only put this down to the amazing staff at Abermill. Who are all genuine, approachable and friendly whilst maintaining professionalism. The home itself has a positive, warm, welcoming
energy. Staff and residents are like one big family. You can see staff take pride in what they do, as this most definitely shines in the residents. As far as I'm concerned, and as far as care is concerned, Abermill is a jewel, and I feel very fortunate my grandparents are residents here.

The summer party was absolutely amazing. Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and my mother did too. The carers are second to none and I cannot praise them enough for all of the hard work and dedication they do for Aber Mill. We cannot wait to attend more events here and love visiting. My
mother is well looked after and we haven't seen her this comfortable and content in years. Thank you Aber Mill!

Parklands is at the heart of the community in Bedwas, and the enthusiasm and loving care given by staff is exceptional as they encourage residents to take part in music sessions and reminiscence. It was very moving to see how people responded as the staff took residents to visit Bedwas Workmens Hall
for the first time in many years; they remembered with such joy the dances, cinema and social events of their youth.

Parklands is a warm and caring home, the staff are friendly and always happy to listen to family's concerns and help where they can. The home also has a fantastic entertainment officer who provides great events for the residents- the effect on their mental and emotional well-being is fantastic, it's
a very real benefit that cannot be underestimated.

My father has been a resident at Parklands for two years. Previous to that another care home. For us as a family HCL provides the care, nursing and trust for caring for all my dad's needs. My dad seems very happy at Parklands and thoroughly enjoys his time spent with the staff and the activities coordinator.
He joins in and loves the music and singing, also any entertainment days provided. My mind is very satisfied with Parklands.
