My uncle moved to Elstree Care Home in October 2025. He did not want to leave his home, but ill health meant he needed full time care. From the moment he arrived, he was made to feel welcome by all at Elstree (staff). He was shown dignity and kindness and soon regarded it as his home. Unfortunately
he passed away in December. Thanks to all at Elstree for everything.

My mum was in Coppice Court Care Home for 1 1/2 years. The care was amazing. They looked after her like she was there own family member. When she passed myself and my family were with her and the love and hugs we got from staff members was 1st class. I would highly recommend Coppice.

My friend was in this wonderful home for a short break. Nothing was too much trouble. From the wonderful carers and nurses to the cleaners and cooks, everyone went out of their way to make her comfortable. The manager was so helpful and welcoming and helped to relieve my anxieties of my dear friend
being looked after by someone other than me. It is a truly exceptional home.

My mother was very shaken by her fall at previous rest home - though absolutely no one was at fault for the fall occurring. Once settled at Elstree court, she was very happy and although her severe hearing loss could prove a problem she enjoyed building up a 'rapport' with the staff. I think I can say
on her behalf that Elstree Court was a very happy place for her to spend the last years of her "early existence".

Elstree Court is a friendly and welcoming care home. It provides an excellent level of care for those in need, and has a good range of activities, including a monthly visit for a service by a local church. The spiritual needs of residents are cared for as well as the physical.

Firstly, most of the Care Assistants and Nurses are excellent and provided good care to our friend but there are not enough of them. However, Management is shocking. Our friend had items stolen and police were also informed on a safeguarding issue when our friend was hurt. This was investigated and
dealt with internally and is recorded.
Phone calls are mostly unanswered at weekend and evenings. Current investigation ongoing involving money stolen from Reception, in spite of upper management trying to whitewash over it.
All of this has caused much stress and heartache. Sadly our friend has now passed.
If you are considering this place for a relative or friend, then I would advise to stay clear. There are other homes out there to consider.

We are sorry your experience of our home was not to your expectations. Our own enquiries and those by external agencies have been undertaken in relation to the claim of harm and the area director is meeting with the friend next week to discuss the alleged theft though it is difficult to investigate when valuables are left at reception unattended out of hours. We are sorry calls went unanswered at the weekend; we will look into this matter as we were unaware there is an issue.

Dad was made to feel very welcome on his arrival after a 3 week stay in hospital. His mobility was diminished and he was treated with care and kindness at all times.The activities were interesting and varied. The food was tailored to his needs and he was helped to eat when needed. He was treated with
dignity and respect at all times especially in his final days. We would recommend Elstree Court to persons in this areas.

I have found all the staff to be very pleasant and kind, caring and helpful. Always willing to help and look after their patients. Since my husband has been in the home he has settled well and feels very comfortable. This makes me feel very happy and pleasant. When the situation arises for a family

Mum loves living at Elstree Court and she calls it "home". All of the care team are friendly to family and give excellent care and attention to mum. Mum had a health issue during the month and was looked after here until an ambulance arrived, was asked after whilst she was in hospital, and was collected
and nursed back at Elstree Court as soon as the hospital discharged her. She is doing so well just for being back in her "home"

My sister has been a resident in the Haven Care Home for over 12 months, she loves it there. All the staff go above and beyond in the care and welfare of all the residents (and also the visitors).
The meals they receive are always first class.
From the domestics to the carers to the nursing and admin
and not forgetting management we couldn't of chosen a better place for my sister to live.

My dad was transferred here from another care home in October this year. The difference here for dad is second to none. Dad is a very difficult person to care for but here, nothing is too much trouble. Every single member of staff shows such care and empathy towards him, giving him time and patience.
Everybody from management, carers, well-being, house keeping to kitchen staff, always have a smile on their face. They keep me updated and informed in all aspects of dad's care. I have finally found dad's forever home and would recommend Coppice Court to anybody.
