Where do I start x This home is amazing, everyone treats you as part of a big family.
The care and love, that they all show each resident is 12 out of 10.
The moment my Mom stepped through the door, they could not do enough for her, they made her room feel like home, made us feel welcome as her
children.
The nursing care is second to none, they got the Dr straight away when required, helping us to make the right decisions for her care. The carers , treated Mom with respect and kindness, always using her name , and chatting with her, when she was anxious.
The place is very very clean , and well looked after.
You could always get hold of staff , to have a conversation, via the phone ,very important as I live so far away.
It is with great sadness that Mom did not have longer at this home, but the staff, showed great respect , dignity and love , to her and to our family.
They looked after me mentally and physically in my Mom's last days
Highly recommended.

I have mixed reviews as some staff go above & beyond while others don't seem interested. Management are also tempermental as they seem very interested/make great entertainment choices however struggle with some family predicaments and ask for unrealistic expectations.
Overall care home is lovely.

My elderly dad was a resident at Victoria Mews for around 18 months, and throughout that time he was looked after brilliantly. The carers, cleaners, activities staff and manager all clearly have the residents' best interests at heart, and they also build close, supportive relationships with relatives.
They always respected my dad's personality and understood that he didn't always want to join in with activities, while still gently encouraging him when it felt right. When my dad's time came, everything was handled with immense respect and compassion, and I can't thank them enough for making such a difficult situation easier.

Friendly welcoming care home which cares for the residents as if they were family members. Lots of activities for the residents and all residents are clean, dressed appropriately and eat really well. The rooms are clean, spacious and inviting and the on site facilities are excellent. The team working
there are dedicated and I hope there will be a space for me when I need care.

My Mum has been at Herald Lodge for nearly two years, the care she receives is excellent, ALL the staff are so friendly and caring and have taken their time to get to know Mum and her family and friends, it is like a home from home, nothing is too much trouble. The activities that are available are
brilliant, accessible to all residents and family and friends are welcome to join in and support their loved one and the home its self. The home is spotlessly clean and well looked after, with a good choice of meals and treats. I would recommend Herald Lodge in a heart beat.
