The care here is wonderful we are kept up to date with mums care plan and staff / nurses are always very attentive even when mum is at her most difficult.
Residents have weekly activities and staff go all out to make these activies inclusive to everyone.
Mum and other residents are all treated with dignity and compassion .
Mum will be staying here for the forseeable future as she is happy and contented.
She feels she can approach staff with worries or concerns and is encouraged to do so.
Activity lady gets all involved including family which is very welcoming
Care staff are wonderful and very down to earth
Gold Stars all round for this care home! All managers, nursing staff, care staff, kitchen staff, activity staff, laundry staff, cleaning staff and DIY staff are excellent! My dad has really improved with his health since being cared for here during the last three months! All the staff are welcoming, caring, thoughtful and responsive to any questions I have asked. I would highly recommend your loved ones to be a resident here!
My brother has only been in here for 2 weeks and up to now its very good.
My experience of Waterside Care Home is absolutely brilliant. The care and dignity given is second to none. And to all the staff a very big thank you for welcoming, caring for and most of call helping my mom feel safe, cared for and happy. The receptionist is brilliant and so helpful. On behalf of my family and I thank you so much.
Very nice staff, always look after residents very well.
Waterside Care Home is a good accommodation. Staff very friendly and helpful with my needs when feeling Low, always find the time to have a chat and cheer me up. Very friendly with my visitors. Always around to assist me with my needs. Overall, most friendly. Perfect accommodation.Food excellent. Very clean and tidy.
Always pleasant helpful staff. Cleanliness maintained to a high standard. Dignity a top priority for all residence. Staff have a good communication level with both visitors and residence alike.
My aunt lived at Waterside for only a few short weeks. Her palliative diagnosis was met with compassion & empathy by all who work there. The management team were very friendly and provided conversations of comfort when we needed reassurance. Overall, our experience of a care home environment was very positive, and we have ensured this has been passed on to friends in the local community.
My uncle was initially admitted to Waterside for EAB. Within the first 24 hours, he knew he wanted this to be his new home. The staff here have given him a sense of happiness, security and contentment that he hasn't felt in his own home for a long time. To see a smile back on his face every day and his cheeky spark back is something I am eternally grateful for. The standard of care here is second to none!
Better now that mum has moved rooms and is nearer to the nurse station and also where staff pass frequently to check on her. Would like her to have more showers and be assisted to eat as she has difficulty seeing now.
Thank you for your review. At Hc-One, we strive to deliver kind care every day to our Residents and their families. I appreciate your feedback around what we can do better, and we endeavor to work on these areas. I assure you that every feedback we receive is incredibly important to us, as this...
My wife has been a resident of Waterside Care Home since May 2022 after suffering a brain haemorrhage and following a long stay in hospital. She is immobile and totally dependent upon the nursing and care staff for all her daily needs. All of the staff at Waterside are professional, caring and friendly and often make time for a bit of a chat. The home is clean, warm and well organised, and I am confident that my wife is receiving excellent care.
We are very pleased with care my sister is receiving at this care home. All the staff are so kind and patient with my sister and with the visitors I have no worries at all. Her meals are always very well presented and she is always very clean.
Home is clean.
My mom is well looked after.
We have found Waterside Care Home staff to be wonderful, they have kept us informed through everything and has been very helpful with every step.
I visit several homes and Waterside Care Home is by far the best I have experienced. The staff work nonstop yet nothing is too much trouble. The staff here could train many homes. The food is excellent and the cleanliness is excellent. Thank you.
Happy with all staff, they are kind and caring.
Really appreciate the effort made due to it being Mom and Dad's anniversary, the staff arranged a room with balloons, plates etc. for us to enjoy the day but due to illness family couldn't attend but we would like to thank you for making Dad feel special and all family welcome.
My mother recently spent two weeks at Waterside on a respite placement. She came back saying how much she'd enjoyed it and how nice everyone was. (She had not been looking forward to spending time in the home because of a previous experience at a different nursing home where she couldn't cope with the noise levels.) My experience and that of Mom's visitors was overwhelmingly positive. The staff were first class- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. There were lots of activities organised but my mother was able to opt out if she felt tired or if the lounge was too noisy for her. Staff sought and responded to Mom's wishes which was very important to us-I can't thank them enough.
My mom is happy in the home. She feels well cared for. She feels more contented when she is in the lounge with other people and she goes in most days. The staff are very caring and look after Mom very well, they genuinely care about the residents. The member of staff in admin is also very helpful. It is a very good home and I am happy with Mom being there and Mom is happy there.
