Staying has been a fantastic experience. The staff have been fantastic, I will miss you all but will be back to see you.
My experience of this care home is very, very good.
My mother was here for four months and it improved her capability after having a stroke so she was able to return home at an age of 89. She was happy and in some ways sad to go home. The staff were helpful and nice.
Your safety policy is really good. Staff are second to none. They are pleasant and efficient. I have nothing but praise for them.
They've done well to keep Mum safe from the virus and she's looked after well.

The staff I have come into contact with on my visits to the home are caring and hard working. Always friendly and welcoming.
My father is well looked after and safe and I feel those who care for him are understanding of his needs.
I feel the measures in place due to Covid restrictions to keep residents staff and visitors safe are very well managed. Full PPE is always available and strict adherence to the rules is applied.
The home has a very friendly atmosphere and is extremely clean and well maintained.
My auntie was here for a period of 4 weeks. All the staff were approachable and friendly. It is a very warm and welcoming home, and the care for my auntie was outstanding and her final days were in dignity. Can not recommend enough, lovely staff.
My aunt was cared for at Waterside Care Home in her final days. The staff were very caring, not only to my auntie but towards my family too and were supportive when she passed away. I couldn't recommend Waterside enough, it is a nice, clean home and the staff are great.
There was no doubt that the staff were incredibly busy, however, they made time to talk to us, and provide care above and beyond good. All staff were compassionate and allowed Mum to have dignity and a peaceful death.
Staff showed great regard to the mental capacity act and mum's wishes, and beliefs including her religious beliefs (Roman Catholic). The staff ensured that she had her rosary beads with her, and appreciated that mum loved to say her prayers. One member of staff even read her the Irish Blessing shortly before she passed away.
I cannot begin to tell you what a comfort it was to us knowing that the standard of care was high, there is only one opportunity in providing a peaceful death. We will always be grateful to Waterside staff.
Dad was in for a few weeks but they could not do basic nursing. If looking for a nursing home look elsewhere.
Dad passed away in hospital having the care and dignity he needed.
Dad passed away on 1st April 2020 with myself and my brother by his side. The management and all the staff have been magnificent regarding dads needs and wellbeing and being very supportive to us in our time of need.
Thank you all so much, we are missing our father but also missing everyone at Waterside, warmest regards, from all of our family.
My mother was taken to Waterside, she was only there for five days before she died, but everyone was so caring and very helpful; also thoughtful. Nothing seemed too much for them to do on the morning she died. The staff also looked after the relatives that were there - thank you.
Care for my mom is good, and she is always clean and tidy. Well cared for, she is cared for in bed mostly but does come out occasionally when well enough to do so.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to Waterside staff during our relative's time with you. Your care and compassion have been second to none. We found that everything we asked of you was always promptly dealt with. Waterside staff work so very hard and really care about their service users. A big thank you for all your care and understanding for not only the service user but also us anxious relatives.
Got my mom into here following the death of my dad, on recommendation from the next-door neighbour. Really pleased with my choice, lovely location by the side of the canale. Staff and management are really kind and helpful, and I can rest assured that my mom is being well cared for.
Home, staff are lovely and very caring. Nothing is too much trouble. My Grandad is well looked after. If the staff have any concerns they always ring me and call the doctor if needed. My grandad is happy here.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. The home is always clean and tidy. It really is a joy to know my mother is well looked after.
Visiting every 4-6 weeks. My friend and all the residents I have met or observed would appear to be happy and well cared for. My friend is treated by staff with respect and encouraged to sit in an especially comfortable chair in the lounge is she is well enough rather than being in bed all the time. The recent Morris dancing display, also in the lounge by visiting artists was very enjoyable and I notice there are many interesting activities throughout the year. I myself, as a visitor, have always been made very welcome.
Keep up the good work guys.
