Fantastic.
Mom came to Waterside for intermediate care. The staff were very welcoming and caring from the start. There is an excellent standard of care and consistency in carers here. Mom is blind and her health and mood have deteriorated rapidly, the staff have been very supportive to Mom and all the family, and we are assured of her safety.
I came here quite ill. I did not eat or drink. With kindness, care, good food etc I have put on weight and found a reason to get well again. I shall miss them all when I leave and then hopefully return to say 'Hello' I have a heart condition plus osteoporosis which has left me with no right hip and my thigh was broken. I would never be frightened to return but hope it will not be necessary.
Complete satisfaction and pleased with everything.
The staff have been very considerate and caring. Could not have been looked after better anywhere.
Excellent care in every respect. Cuisine wonderful, always varied at every meal. Hygiene throughout the building first class. Every comfort and personal hygiene attended to and would not hesitate to recommend this 'home' throughout England.
Very welcoming.
Very homely.
Treat people with respect/dignity.
Nothing is too much trouble.
My comments are based on a couple of weeks and very satisfied so far.
This is our first experience of a care home and we are really impressed. Although my mam was in Waterside for a short period, the care she received was excellent. All staff went out of their way to make her feel comfortable, at ease and safe. They constantly monitored her and kept us informed of how she was doing at each visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Waterside based on our experience. Many thanks to you all!
Extremely welcoming I would like to say how enjoyable it is to walk into such a friendly place. The care and support my mom has had shows in her face and body language. Encouragement to go out of her room is appreciated. Staff make my mom and us as a family belong. Standard, support staff, food, activities all excellent.
Mom's behaviour can be challenging at time but the staff deal with her with respect and sensitivity. Any health needs are addressed immediately, in my opinion, she is receiving the best care I could wish for.
The staff have been very caring and helpful when we have asked about dad.
The staff were very good and enabled me to get better.
My aunt stayed at Waterside Care Home for a period of 6 weeks, convalescing after a three and a half month stay in the hospital. Waterside gave her the care she needed. She left Waterside feeling stronger and more confident. She was treated with the help and respect she deserved from all of the staff involved.
Thank you for your review. I'm so glad to hear that your aunt left us feeling stronger and confident again. I hope that she continues in good health.
Waterside is fantastic. Both my grandparents have been in before and it's the second time for my grandmother. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent, nan has never eaten so much!
I can't say enough good things, it's like a home from home.
Thank you for your review. I'm so glad that your grandmother is enjoying her stay with us and enjoying the food.
Her family have felt content with the dedicated care she is receiving.
All her visitors have been made welcome and accommodated throughout the day only being requested to avoid the highlighted meal times.
Mom enjoys the variety and quality of the food served and that she can choose from a daily menu. We have found the staff to be pleasant, friendly and helpful and feel they treat mom with the respect she deserves for someone of 83 years of age.

My mum is attending Waterside for some respite care after falling and breaking her hip. The staff have been excellent. They have taken extremely good care of my mum. She is having a wonderful experience.
Thank you for your review. So glad to know that your Mum is enjoying her time with us and I wish her a speedy recovery after her fall.
My father has only been here for two weeks at the moment, having come from hospital. This short time here has been brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff. Management/the senior nurse make a point of keeping me up to date on Dad's recovery. He is well looked after and treated with care, respect and dignity by everyone at the home. The staff are friendly, having a laugh and joke which is lovely as the days can be very long for the patients. I would like to thank everyone involved with Dad's care. Thank you.

Very good. If I had to go in again I would. Absolutely wonderful and I fell in love with the place. Food and staff are fantastic. Nothing was too trouble. A real home from home. Lots of privacy which I really like and one-night nurse, in particular, was ace.
