A lot of thought goes into the activities made available and we have many photos of mum enjoying these. The home manager and the staff go the extra mile when it comes to making family welcome.
My mother went to Waterside for end of life care, this was a stressful time for family but an even more difficult time for my mother as she knew the end days were coming closer. The whole team of staff at the home were so kind, caring, supportive of us all. Moms final 3 weeks were made comfortable and she had tender care, she was pain and anxiety free. The environment provided to mom and family was amazing, giving us privacy whilst also giving support, we cannot thank this home and its staff enough.
A wonderful place and attention to detail. Very happy with staff and management support for the short time my dad has been a resident. Many thanks.
Overall this is a wonderful home. The staff are kind and caring. Any complaints or worries are dealt with swiftly.
My mom has recently arrived to live at Waterside. My family and I are very impressed, staff are very welcoming and friendly, we were made welcome from day one. My mom has settled very easily and already has friends. The activities are very good and cater for all capabilities.
Do not have any big problems with home conditions or attitude or work ethic of the staff.
You can put your trust in the care at Waterside. Carers take good care of the lady's here at Waterside. The carers are Angels, friendly and helpful.
Mom has been at Waterside since July 2018. She is very comfortable and well looked after by the staff. Activities are excellent and varied and management very approachable. When I leave Mom I am always happy knowing that she is in a safe environment and well cared for which means so much.
Staff very pleasant, helpful and polite.
Very good care and care workers.
Mom has received amazing care, her sore is slowly healing, progress is very positive and she is monitored daily and given the equipment she needs to recover.
She has well-balanced meals which mom loves and have helped her also to grow in strength. I am always able to get an update on mom's progress without making an appointment. Staff always make time to see me.
Friendly staff and lots of activities for residents to engage with.
Dad received end of life care and was treated with tolerance, dignity and respect by all members of staff. Management made a point of meeting us. Rooms are being constantly cleaned. Food menu caters for all and is varied and of good quality. Staff are always helpful despite being really busy and nurses always available for questions. Would recommend this home to other people in the same position.
My aunt has received excellent care. She prefers her own company but June has managed to bring her out of her shell and get involved which had improved her standard of living enormously. June works hard considering she is spread between 60 service users. I can not fault the care.
She always acknowledges us by name, with a warm and welcoming smile, comes into the lounge and greets all residents including my mom in a way she understands. Her greatest attribute is she sees the positive in people. Excellent people skills.
Lovely setting by canal. Clean and well-maintained manager engaged with me and my grandmother from the start and took a real interest. Care and nursing staff happy to help. Grandmother has been receiving respite care. We have had experience of other home and this one is a breath of fresh air. Well done.
I am very pleased that my great aunt is now in this home. She has settled in well and every time I have visited, it has been clean and all staff are very friendly and welcoming. My great aunt seems to be very happy here and is looking much better now. Thank you.
Waterside was a real surprise to me. It is welcoming and comfortable in every aspect. The standard of cleanliness is excellent as is the standard of care. All of the staff work as a team and that is very noticeable. The food is well presented and satisfying. I can find no fault at all!
My sister came in following a period of not eating and was very frail and underweight. The excellent food offered with staff encouragement has meant that she has gained weight and is in a much better state of health. She has been happy here but wishes to return home, but wouldn't be able to do this without the excellent care she has received. Her stay has taken a huge amount of stress off me and the staff have been kind, helpful and friendly to me.
Felt relaxed. I was looked after good. Very pleasant, Kept very clean.
