Review of Woodside Court Care Home from S M (Son of Resident) published on 7 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mum moved into Woodside court in September 2025, the staff have been excellent in helping her settle in and adjust to her new surroundings. Any concerns with my mum health etc we were contacted immediately and kept informed of any changes that she needed put on place to maintain a healthy baseline lifestyle.
They now have a minibus too which can only help the residents further to access the community too.

I am rest assured that my mum is well looked after while staying at Woodside care home.

Review of Woodside Court Care Home from J C (Daughter of Resident) published on 27 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My mum stayed at Woodside Court for 10 weeks from the beginning of March 2026. Initially, we were very apprehensive, as our wish had been to care for her at home. However, following a fall and a subsequent hospital stay, she became far too frail and required round-the-clock nursing care.
The staff at Woodside Court were exceptionally kind and cared for our mum with genuine empathy, dignity and compassion throughout her stay. Several members of our family visited every day, and the staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming or supportive. They went above and beyond to ensure that all of Mum's needs were met, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone at the nursing home for the outstanding care they provided. Their professionalism, kindness and dedication exceeded all our expectations and brought great comfort to both Mum and our family during a very difficult time.

I have worked in many Care homes over the years, Lomond Court has everything a resident needs to feel comfortable, respected and cherished. I would happily end my days in this home or one of the same standard.

Review of Woodside Court Care Home from M L (Daughter of Resident) published on 17 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Following a challenging adjustment period for both, my mum and the family, she now seems more settled. This is in no small part due to Kyle's inclusive management style which brings out the best in his staff - the nurses, carers and domestic team. All are very approachable and open to working with the family to deliver a high standard of care for mum whilst also ensuring her dignity is preserved. We welcome Woodside Court' s bottom up management style which means any concerns are dealt with which inspires confidence.

Review of Chapel Level Care Home from Francis A (Son of Resident) published on 29 June 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

From the initial visit to now 6 weeks into my mum's stay at Chapel Level Care Home have made the whole care experience very reassuring. The care and support that my mum has been given from the team and management has been outstanding. Originally, I was anxious about my mum living in a care home, however, due to the abundance of varied activities I am extremely pleased with the overall experiences given to my mum, especially in relation to menu plans, choice of food, beauty, care, activities and the overall atmosphere which is nurturing, caring and welcoming.

Review of Chapel Level Care Home from Iain F (Son of Resident) published on 10 June 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My mother spent 13 months at Chapel Level before sadly passing, aged 89. Throughout her stay she remarked regularly how much she enjoyed staying there. The staff, food and facilities were excellent and she always felt very safe and cared for. Her last few days were handled well and she was comfortable to the end. Susan and the team were empathetic and helpful and are a credit to the company.

Review of Woodside Court Care Home from W M (Daughter of Resident) published on 4 June 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

The staff at Woodside Care Home cared for my mum with kindness, professionalism and understanding. The care staff were friendly, helpful and caring towards my mum and us as a family. We could not have wished for a higher standard of care. They ensured my mum was attended to promptly and all details of care were attended to, ensuring my mum's dignity was preserved. The evening staff were particularly attentive, sitting with my mum during the night when she was unsettled and anxious. In providing this care, we as a family felt support and confidence that my mum was safe, cared for and comfortable.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They all went above and beyond what I expected a care home to be like. I felt totally at ease leaving my father-in-law in their care. The home was very clean and the meals (those that I saw when visiting) all looked very good, a good amount and well presented.
This was a four week respite care for a dementia patient, and he was always calm, well turned out, singing the staff's praises.

I would not hesitate, if the time comes, to admit him permanently.

Review of Balfarg Care Home from M D (Friend of Resident) published on 5 March 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
From the outset this Care Home proved to be welcoming and friendly. All staff made residents and visitors feel that they belonged, in this, their "home".
Systems are in place to cover all eventualities and relatives are kept informed of relevant information promptly.
Residents are helped to feel safe and secure and thus the settling in period is completed smoothly reassuring all concerned.

A wide variety of activities are provided on a regular basis. This stimulus, so helpful to the residents of the Care Home, benefits the participants enormously. Certainly this is a Care Home

My uncle came into Balfarg in February 2025 until his passing in December 2025. We all experienced the most wonderful kindness from everyone. Whilst the rooms are a bit tired, the loving care and attention he received was second to none. The end of life care was exceptional

Thankyou to all in Balfarg.
