To all nurses, carers, manager, the care and love shown to my brother, especially during his last months, was excellent and made this difficult time so more bearable not only for Colin but also for the whole family. You were all so kind and patient and I cannot thank you enough for the unfaltering care
and support given us all. Thank you each and every one who works at Aston House for the amazing care you give my brother while he was living there. Each and every word is came from my heart words are not enough to thank you!

Treated very well and respectfully by all staff. However on occasion sleep is disturbed by residents with dementia in nearby rooms making a lot of noise at night.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at The Hornchurch Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very pleased to hear that you feel your loved one is treated with respect and kindness by our staff, as this is extremely important to us.
We are sorry to hear that their sleep is occasionally disturbed. Supporting residents living with dementia can sometimes involve managing behaviours that occur during the night, and we understand how challenging this can be for others nearby. Our team works closely to minimise disruption wherever possible and to support all residents' comfort and wellbeing, particularly overnight.
Thank you again for your comments, which help us to continue improving the care and environment we provide.

My mum was only in the care home for a very short period of time before she passed away. The staff were extremely attentive and kind and I could not fault the care that my mum received. Everyone we spoke to went out of their way to help in any way they could. The staff updated me on a daily basis regarding
mum's condition and were very professional. Our family were looked after very well when we visited. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for being there with us and for providing my dear mum with first class care.

Dad has been a resident of Cedar house for more than two years. The level of care and compassion exhibited by the staff has been exceptional.
Dad could be a very awkward person, the staff never stopped trying to find the best solutions to make his stay the best possible.
From the managers, care staff
to catering and laundry services I can not say anything other than positive things.
