Carers are very attentive. Activites co-ordinator very friendly and supportive of family members. Managment appear to be very good and supportive and understanding of all service users needs and family needs. Nurses also appear to be very supportive. Dad has been a resident of Cedar house for more than two years. The level of care and compassion exhibited by the staff has been exceptional.
Dad could be a very awkward person, the staff never stopped trying to find the best solutions to make his stay the best possible.

The staff give first class care to my mum for two and a half years. They made us feel part of their family and they were all part of ours. We couldn't have asked for better care for mum as she lived with Alzheimer's.

On first meeting with the nursing home management team, they were affable, helpful and informative. On arrival with my brother-in-law, he was met with friendly welcoming staff. During his stay which was palliative, he was treated with kindness and care. He was made very comfortable, felt safe and well

I truly think Ashgrove was the best end my mum could have wished for. The carers, nurses, helpers and management could not have done any more to make her last months the best they could be.
