Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
First of all I had a very bad experience with a care home with my mum, so when my dad needed to go into a home I was very cautious. I did all my research went and visited multiple homes, Worsley Lodge came out the best. I was still very worried when my dad went in there, on the first day in there sorting
out paperwork with the admin lady I burst into tears she was fantastic and really reassured me that my dad would be looked after. The place is very clean the food is fantastic they eat better than I do. The staff are fantastic. What I liked best about this home is you could call or visit at any time, and if there was something wrong they would phone you immediately. They have a fantastic garden with a bar in it in which made me laugh they really look after the residents. Unfortunately my dad didn't last long in here to due bad health and went to end of life care in here, and again all the staff were amazing really looked after him.

We were unsure and worried about our mum going into care , but it was clear that she was not safe to be left at home on her own after our dad had died .
The support and reassurance we have had from the staff has been amazing .

Mum is eating and taking interest in others around her
I haven't had a

moments concern since we took her in there 10days ago .

Thank you all for looking after her when she couldn't do it herself

Very happy with the care my grandad is receiving. He is always dressed nice and clean every day. His room is always spotlessly clean. The entertainment is very good for the residents. All staff are nice and polite and always make us feel at ease with my grandad's care. They always stop for a chat with
us and keep us updated on everything.

I am unable to go on a regular basis to the care home, but on the visits that I have made, I have always found the staff to be friendly, caring, kind, affectionate and respectful to the residents in their care. Occasionally, I have seen activities in progress such as quizzes and sing-alongs, and the
majority of the residents in the communal lounge seem to enjoy their events and interactions with fellow residents, staff and visitors in general. Everyone is encouraged to join in, and I'm also aware that my mother-in-law has been taken out on occasional group trips since moving in last December, which she really enjoyed. Overall, myself and my husband are very satisfied with the general ethos in which the home is run.

Daisy Nook House

We are delighted that Auntie has a place here, it was a very stressful time with her having no children and living 65 miles away from us who are her closest relatives. We needed to find somewhere quickly and we're over the moon and feel very lucky she received a place here. The staff were extremely
welcoming and she settled in really well.
The staff are absolutely fantastic, helpful, responsive, caring and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The place has a happy environment with lots of fun and activities for the residents to join in if they wish too. There are also lots of quiet place to sit if a bit of relaxation time is needed. Aunty absolutely loves the armchair exercises and the sing a long along with Wednesday night bingo.
She feels very safe and well looked after here.
The communication is good and the social media page is brilliant as it allows us to see how aunty is when we cannot get there everyday.

Thank you Daisy nook team.

Brinnington Hall

Brinny Hall is still my favourite Care Home, having experienced a number in recent years .... Some of the wonderful Carers are truly committed, whilst just a few need a wee whack around the back of the head with a soft pillow, as and when required ! .... I love the way there are many good laughs around
the place and this often comes from all levels of staff ....However, would like to see more Staff giving visitors, such as myself, a good olde ' Good Morning ' when first meeting visitors on a new day for the first time ... still too many do not seem to manage this, which is a shame .... some however, are really great - the great Care Home manager is a good example - Activities seem to have picked up in recent times which is good - Perhaps we could have a return of Elvis, not the original, of course, which we could barely afford, but the look-a-like did a grand job ! .... All in all, Brinny Hall still flies the flag for others to match ....

My dad moved into Greatwood House on the 4/2/25. He sadly passed away there on the 17/7/25 a few days after his 90th Birthday. He was well cared for, any concerns were communicated to me straight away. The facilities are great, as is the entertainment programme. When he began to decline rapidly, the
staff were very attentive and caring to me and my dad. He was treated with dignity and care during his last few days. He passed away peacefully with us around him and his favorite music playing.

My mother has been a resident for almost 3 years now at De Brook and we could not wish for a better place for her to be.cared for The staff are all fantastic and take the time and effort to ensure my mum is well looked after, and happy . There are lots of activities provided for the residents and
it is great to see them all happy and smiling. The home is always very clean and well maintained and the rooms are all decorated to make it very homely. The food always looks delicious too with lots of choices and variety and all freshly cooked on site.

My mum started her new life at Rose Court in May. From the first moment she arrived she has been wonderfully cared for by the fabulous carers. I visited today and witnessed one of the dance exercise classes in full swing. It was heartwarming to see the interaction of carers with the residents and the
hard work of the carers to engage with everyone who were clearly having lots of fun!
From our experience to date, all the staff have been friendly, helpful and most important of all the carers clearly care and enjoy their work.
Thank you

Very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent party food provided and lots of effort in decorating the dining room for residents and guest. The grading on safety/security relates to a recent incident.

I can not actually find words to describe the love, care & support that the Meadow Bank family has shown my Mum & my family. As a resident just prior to Covid lock down it was an extremely tough time for everyone, the staff went above & beyond to keep a sense of normality for their residents. This care
and family values, respect and understanding needs has never wavered. We sadly lost Mum on the 5th August & her passing, although expected, was a blow to everyone but the genuine love & affection shown will never be forgotten.
