I came to visit my mum on her Birthday and the home was having a party for her with a singer on. Lots of residents joined and got involved with musical instruments. Lovely atmosphere and my mum was very happy. Nice to see that they do things like this.

Poor care due to not enough staff. Too many agency staff especially on nights and sometimes mum can't understand them, no patience. Elderly left on their own for hours. We have complained many times, but nothing changes. Mum should have 24/7 care - this does NOT happen. Manager spends all her time upstairs
doing paperwork, rarely downstairs overseeing or helping. Food terrible. No entertainment, stimulation, or exercise (just left in chairs or rooms). If we didn't attend to mum's needs, she would be a lot worse. Residents, bored and left for too long.

My brother Peter suffers with dementia and is a resident at Daisy Nook. I visit him at least twice weekly, find him clean, well-dressed and in good humour. My experience here has been 100% positive. From the moment I was met at the door I was made to feel welcome by all the staff who were friendly and efficient. The activities in the lounge were very pleasant and helped the day pass pleasantly and entertaining.

We have been really happy with the care provided for our mum (Rita), the staff are always very helpful and very supportive of mum's needs.

my grandma is a current resident at Millbrook carehome and the whole family couldn't be happier with the care which is given to my grandma, staff are so fri3ndly but professional, every need she has is met to a high standard, medication is given like clockwork always on time no fuss. food is fantastic
top quality produce is used and there's as much or little as u like. There are activities nearly everyday if you want to take part which is encouraged but not forced, they also have an on site salon. We can visit whenever we want and are always welcomed with friendly staff , just can't rate this place enough THANK YOU for all you do its forever appreciated!!!!!!!

I cannot Thank the Care team and Nurses enough for their care and attention of my Dad. He was a resident for nearly 2 Years, he was made to feel at home from day one. Such love, care and empathy shown towards my Dad and friendliness shown towards the family!.


When my Dads dementia worsened and he

sadly passed away on 4/5/26 he was dealt with such love, care and dignity by all staff. All staff showed compassion towards my family for which I am forever grateful.


Thanks to all of the care team, cleaners, kitchen, staff, admin team, activity team you are amazing!!.
Caring is a very hard job to undertake and doesn't get recognised enough, and when it's done right can make such a difference to a resident and their family! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

My mum has had a great month at Rose Court, she seems more settled every week.
Went out for the first time as a group, singing and dancing in the Home.
For anyone suffering with Dementia Rose Court is absolutely the perfect place.

I can't thank the staff enough for the care and compassion they've shown to my mum. From the very beginning, they made what is a difficult time feel a lot more manageable, not just for her but for me also. The team are kind, patient and genuinely attentive. Mum is always treated with dignity and respect
and its clear they take time to understand her as a person, not just as a resident. The little things don't get unnoticed - whether its a friendly chat, helping he comfortable or keeping me updated.

My brother is in The Sycamores he is still very active, Alice is very active with my brother, when she can she takes out the residents that can walk or be pushed in a wheelchair, which we are grateful for. I am happy with admin and staff always plesent and understanding of there needs, anything we are
worried about we see the staff or admin and they sort it out right away. As long as my brother is happy there we will let him stay.

My mum was a permanent resident at Millbrook Care home in Stalybridge which I had recommended to me. We were more than happy with the care that my mum (Kathleen) received from Claire, Cathy, + all the team. The care home had been my mums home for 4+ years and has a very welcome feel, rather than clinical.
Claire held relatives meeting where she would listen to what we had to say + improve wherever possible. Thank you again to all at Millbrook care home for all that you did for my mum. We will always be forever grateful.

My Dad was on the ground floor at carrington court even though his stay was short he was well looked after and nothing was too much trouble
It was very clean and He settled in well
The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to make sure he was comfortable
I had never heard of carrington court but
would recommend it to anyone
