In general care has been excellent. Specifically, my wife has been experiencing swalling problems. This has been monitored and assistance given at meal times. Soft foods are being provided to help and monitoring is continuing.

It's always been a lovely relaxed environment when we have visited. Nothing is a problem for the staff, who are very helpful. The only problem we have encountered is with the laundry process. Items going missing. But staff are helpful and try to find them.

Just want to comment on what I saw on Wednesday on the dementia floor at Park House Care Home Guisborough .
Sheila & Sally were the preforming singing and playing instruments.
They had a lovely way with the audience lots of songs the guests knew the words too and the switch would turn on and they
were awake and present in the moment x
Quite emotional to watch a few tears were shed with the guests .
Tracy & Michelle were the staff in the room encouraging the guests to sing and be involved no one was ignored they showed care and professionalism a credit to the care home .
A big thank you for caring for my dad .

Mum receives excellent care throughout the care home. The nurses are so caring and go above and beyond their duties to make sure my mum is happy and comfortable. The room is cleaned to a very high standard, and her clothes are washed and returned very quickly. There is lots of regular entertainment

To Guisborough Park House. We were all in a new phase of vulnerability with our father's condition by Sept 2025. But after speaking to the manager and staff during a care home visit we felt relaxed in the knowledge that Park House was the place for our dad to stay for his respite care. Unfortunately
he had to stay quiet a while due to family situation til January 2026. While he was there, Dad was treated with respect, care, love for the man he is. We can't express enough our gratitude to all the staff at Park House for their incredible, professional, positive, kind, caring, knowledgeable. These individuals who had an effect on us as a family have supported us all taking the time to understand our concerns.

My mam has been in Park House for 3 years now and during that time everybody who works there has always gone above and beyond to care for her every need, the food is always very nice, Mam is always well preseneted and the home is always spotlessly clean and tidy. In my opion the value for money question
should be removed, we put Mam in here because it had a really good feel factor, and didn't shop around for the cheapest home.
