I've just spent 3 months in Woodlands View recovering from an illness. I can say that they were superb. The care staff really looked after me, continuing to monitor my progress and the Chef provided meals of the highest quality and with good choice to suit most people ,and prepared to accommodate
any special requests. Woodlands View provide many activities, and entertainment to keep you occupied also facilities like a hairdresser chiropodist. Thanks to Woodlands View I've made a good recovery and now back in my own home. Thanks Woodlands View

I had a lovely week's respite in Foley Grange. The staff were delightful. I gave a lower score to activities because there were not enough activities planned, and the activities just did not happen. I can understand why, as there was not enough enthusiasm from the residents.
The food and drink had
a satisfactory score due to the poor communication bettween kitchen and dining room, the menus were not accurate.
But all in all, a very pleasant stay thanks to a team of kind, dedicated staff. Thank you.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at Foley GrangeThank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to make improvements where required. We appreciate your kind words surrounding the very pleasant kind dedicated staff team, we are sorry to hear of your concerns regarding the lack in activities and the issues with communication around food and drink . Please be assured that we take all feedback seriously as we always strive to deliver the highest quality provision across the board. Should you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact the home directly.

My Mum has been a resident at Woodland View for 2 years. From the moment she arrived she has been treated with kindness, care and respect. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the home is kept spotlessly clean. In addition to this there is a varied programme of activities which is constantly
changing to accommodate residents' wishes and needs. This is thanks to the amazing activities co-ordinator.
The management team are all very approachable and knowledgeable and respond quickly to any concerns or suggestions.
I would not hesitate to recommend this home if you are looking for a safe and comfortable place for your loved one.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at Woodland ViewDear Clare. Feedback like yours provides a real boost to our colleagues, who work tirelessly to deliver the kindest possible care to our residents. 3.5 years ago I made the difficult decision to put my mum into care. She suffers from dementia and clearly wasn't managing by herself. Not only is it a difficult decision for the resident but for their families too. Fast forward 3.5 years and mum is thriving! She is healthy and happy, has made some
lovely friends and constantly tells me that she is lucky to live there.
It is complete piece of mind for me knowing that mum is being looked after.
At Woodland a view they have such a variety things to do. There is a weekly planner which shows all activities including games, singers, guest speakers, crafts, gentlemen's club and exercises.
The care-home is kept absolutely spotless. It has excellent facilities including a library, hairdressers, cinema, gin bar and cafe. When you walk through the door it is like walking into a luxury hotel.
The staff are amazing! So caring and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
I am so glad that I choose Woodland view to look after my mum.

The home is always clean, and the staff are kind and welcoming. The only criticism I have is that the windows, when illness is present is not helpful for residents or visitors. Appreciate that there isn't much to be done with that, but maybe outside or garden visits could be arranged.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at Foley GrangeDuring the recent outbreaks, we followed guidance from Public Health England (PHE), which allowed for one designated visitor. We acknowledge that families would have preferred window visits; however, residents were required to isolate to prevent the spread of infection, and as a result, we were unable to facilitate window visits on the first and second floors. We appreciate the feedback provided and fully understand how difficult this experience would have been for our residents, as well as their relatives and friends.

Over the Christmas period and through difficult times with the flu epidemic, the care and safety of all residents was paramount, with communication and standards raised to ensure all residents were kept safe.
It is really good to know that Norman is in a safe place, whatever the circumstances, it gives
great comfort to all of the family, which is really important to all of us.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at Foley GrangeDear Ralph, Thank you for your kind words. My grandad has recently moved to Foley Grange and can not fault the facilities and environment he is in. Foley Grange is a warm, clean, beautiful care home I've ever seen. Staff are friendly, welcoming and ensure our family that my grandad is in safe hands and can see how well cared for he is. It has
taken time for him to settle and work together for this to happen.

I am the daughter of a resident, and I am so impressed by the care given to my dad. Meal times are made a real event with a nice setting of tables and good choices on the menu. My dad is given the freedom to help set up and clear away, which is very important to him. Everywhere is so clean with no smelly
wee like other homes I have visited.

My father needed immediate respite care having suffered from the flu and a nasty chest infection. The care team accepted him with a level of assurance and personal care you would want for a family member. He has quickly recovered with all the tender loving care received from all the staff at Woodland
VIew. He is happy and so are we as a family, knowing he is safe and cared for. Thank you and warm wishes to all for 2026.

My wife has been a resident of Foley Grange since May 2025.
In that time, I have found the staff sympathetic, helpful and patient. They have not only dealt professionally with the temperament issue of my wife in the early days, but also helped me during a difficult time with their kindness & sympathy.
They
have also kept me and my family informed of my wife's progress during this sad decline.

I stayed at Foley Grange in Kidderminster for 10days after my hip replacement surgery. The facilities were easily accessible on crutches and the lovely carers were always on hand to help with the compression stockings. It was a wonderful rest with great food, tea and coffee whenever I wanted it and
always someone friendly to chat to. The long corridor provided a great area for me to do some gentle walking every day. The residents were so welcoming but most of all I got a complete rest which was a great start to my recovery.
