We approached Daneside Mews for emergency short-term respite care, for Mum, who is 89 with dementia. The senior team visited our home, assessed Mum and confirmed later that day a place was available. The whole team at Daneside made us feel welcome, were supportive, caring, professional and treated Mum
and us with great kindness. We feel Mum now has a home away from home for any future needs.

Lauren Court has a homely feel to it the minute you arrive there. The staff are lovely and genuinely care for the residents. They take time to get to know each individuals likes and dislikes and make them feel they matter. The home is clean, provides excellent meals and entertainment. We as a family
are very happy our relative is being cared for in such a wonderful environment.

My husband was welcomed into the home and has settled in very well. He is safe and stress-free, being looked after by the staff who keep him clean and manage his health needs. He interacts with all the staff who are always friendly and helpful. Activities are arranged and he is encouraged to join in
with the other residents, which he is doing/ When taken out for trips by us, he is always happy to return to his 'safe place'. I am very happy with the treatment he has been given.

I was always made to feel Welcome and it had a nice homely feeling to the place..The staff took time to talk to you and were very helpful.. I would certainly recommend
the home to anyone who is looking to place their relatives in a well run caring home..

Everything overall seems to be fine. The main concern is that there never seems to be sufficient staff on the floor, e.g. most times when visiting there are only 2 staff to be seen! Is this enough? I can however see that Mum is happy in her environment and seems to get on with most other residents and
staff.

Unfortunately they forgot to give Lionel his lunch one day and he had told me before on two occasions that he hadn't had any dinner but thought he was confused due to dementia and Alzheimer's . Also arrived one day to find Lionel struggling with a table which was just about in His grasp but at his side
with his dinner left on it. Eats with a spoon but regularly have to ask for it. His teeth are nit cleaned regularly.

My mum has been at Acorn Meadow for almost 3 months. She's settled well and quickly. I believe this has had a lot to do with how she has been looked after and made to feel very welcome.
I have had a huge adjustment to make, having been mum's 24/7 sole carer for over a year. It has been hard to give
up control, but I know she is safe and cared for.

I'm so thankful for a place like Lauren court, my grandma wasn't cared for properly until we found Lauren court. The care home is spotless, the staff take care of the residents and listen to theirs and their families needs to provide the residents with the best care.
The food they are given looks lovely.
The
new manager has made some exceptional improvements and I'm so happy my grandma enjoys her days in there too. Best decision we as a family have made.

On entering Hollymere, it is bright and clean, the decor is lovely, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The daily entertainment is wonderful, and it's a pleasure watching the residents all join in happily singing and laughing.
The residents are well looked after and clean, which gives family
peace of mind once residents settle in. We can't thank Hollymere enough.
