My mum has had a fantastic experience since coming to live at Douglas View. She participates in activities which she enjoys and meet her needs. A highlight is being able to have her hair done by the hairdresser! We are always greeted with a smile by all staff. The activities team are fabulous at getting
Mum out and about and getting to know her as a person.

Both my parents reside in Hatton Lea care home and as they are in different units I have experience of the whole home.
My first visit to the home was a positive experience, I found the main public areas to be bright and welcoming and the staff to be engaging.
My parents have now been residents for
approximately 9 months, during which time the staff have kept my brother and me fully updated instantly if there has been any change to their health, medications or any incidents of note.
The management team, the different care staff and house keeping are always friendly and approachable. They always take the time to have a quick chat or at least acknowledge you in the passing. The care staff are always able to give an accurate update on my parents health and wellbeing without having to consult others or go and read their notes, which shows me that they take a genuine interest in the residents.
The home has an extensive activities calendar running throughout the year. It covers daily group

My mum entered Highgate three months ago. She has dementia and was struggling with loneliness and threatenin self harm. The staff at Highgate have been outstanding. The turnaround in my mum has been huge. She participated in all of the events, and all of my family have noticed a huge change in her.
There is no doubt in my mind that her experiences and support have given her her life back. I cannot praise the organisation and staff enough. Thank you.

My Dad has been a resident here for almost 3 years. The staff all show kindness, patience and treat him with dignity. They are always friendly and easy to approach. I know there are times when the staff can be stretched but they are always patient and never rush the residents. The home is welcoming
and very homely. I feel Dad is being well cared for and would happily recommend them to others.

Mum entered The Village Care Home after a 9 week spell in hospital and was made to feel safe from day 1. All of the staff are amazing and show the utmost care and compassion to all of the residents. The level of care is incredible and every resident is treated as an individual with individual needs,
everyone is treated with dignity and respect. The home is spotless throughout and the rooms are incredibly homely and comfortable. From being shown round by an extremely experienced member of staff, dealing with the admin side, the carers, entertainment co-ordinators and everyone else total professionalism.
