Our Sister arrived at the Care home on August 2025 after being discharged from a lengthy stay at Hospital.
Since admission on day 1 our sister has been met with care, compassion and kindness from both Staff and Management. The home's surroundings and location has scenic and familiar outlooks looking
on to the Gleniffer Braes. This has allowed our sister to settle in quicky and seems very content in her new home. As a family we are delighted that our sisters complex needs are being met. Our sister now refers to Hillside as her forever home.

I cannot express how happy we are with the care my two family members received. The carers are so kind. It made leaving them so easy because the staff treated them like grandparents, and they are safe.

My mum moved here in August 2025 and was made very welcome. She has a homely room with her own momentos. Food options are healthy and nutritious and there is always a choice. Plenty of snacks available too. Kyle Court is very clean - to the highest of standards. The manager and staff are so kind and
caring. My one concern is the staffing ratio at night, which is definitely not sufficient given that lots of 2:1 care.

Family have no concerns with Mum's care. Staff, accommodation first class. We like that a carer is always with the residents whilst in lounge/sitting room. Mum is being very well cared for, which gives the family peace of mind knowing Mum is safe.

In my experience the staff are very attentive to the residents and pleasant to the visitors. The difficult job they're doing must make it hard to maintain the professionalism they show at all times.

As a family we have been really impressed with the care mum has received since going into Kyle Court. The food is good and there are always options according to mum. She likes the standards set, table covers etc. Michelle, the head cleaner, ensures the place is spotless and really takes pride in her
job. The carers/management have been so kind and have delivered everything my mum has asked for. Visitors are made more welcome. The only negative I can think of is the night staffing situation where it is often agency carers/nurses who don't know the residents and their needs, sometimes causing, a delay dispensing medication etc.

My experience with Kyle Court Care Home has been very poor, and I would strongly advise others not to choose this care home.
My father stayed here for a few months before we ultimately decided to move him elsewhere. During his time at Kyle Court, we felt he was not treated fairly, and concerns were
not taken seriously by management. While a few members of staff were genuinely kind and helpful, we were left with the strong impression that management did not truly care about my father's wellbeing or best interests.
When it came time to move him to a better care home in Paisley, there was no support offered whatsoever. The carehome did not assist with moving his belongings, leaving the process to our family during what was already a stressful time. These issues have since been raised with the Care Inspectorate.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we are relieved that my father is now in a care home where he is treated with the dignity and respect he deserves.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The home has a nice feel about it also. My dad appears to have settled in quickly and looks happy within his new environment. The home have drink dispensers in the corridor, which I think is a great idea, and the place is spotlessly
clean. The dining room appeared chilled when all the residents were in.
The manager and staff are all very knowledgeable. They all seem to enjoy what they are doing and that makes a huge difference.
I am pleased we have chosen Hillside View for my dad after battling with the decision for him.
After leaving the home today I felt confident we have made the right decision.

My husband (early onset dementia) has been in this care home, Hillside View, Paisley, for almost 4 years. In all that time, he has been treated with compassion and dignity by kind, caring staff. The home is very well run and in exceptional condition. Laundry always returned and ironed. Rooms and communal
areas are clean, bright and welcoming and used by lots of the residents throughout the day.

My sister came to Hillside View in 2022, and she was made to feel 'at home' from the outset. The staff have been terrific at handling her and her difficulties.
I was most impressed that 6 staff members took the time to attend her funeral, which speaks volumes for the genuineness of their care and affection.

Mum is so well looked after by all staff, all staff make you so welcome when you come on visits. I'm kept up to date with all or any issues on mum.
She is doing so well since coming to Hillside View 2 years ago this July.
