Review for the care and physio staff at Bonetti House. My brother was in their care for four weeks. Both teams were very patient, thoughtful and have made a real difference in his recovery. after a nasty fall. A very friendly place with a positive vibe. We are very grateful for all that you have done
and paving the way for him to get home and on his feet again.

My mum was cared for by the team in the fedora unit receiving palliative care. Our experience was nothing but excellent for the 5 weeks she was there. Every single member of the team provided mum with compassionate care, kindness and dignity. Always making sure she was clean and comfortable.
For us
as a family it was a very tough time and the team helped make things a little easier with their warmth and kindness to us too. The offer of a cup of tea, something to eat or just to chat when we were at a low.
Her room was kept clean and tidy every day and the food was cooked fresh and was excellent. Chef cooks a lovely pudding.
It gave us comfort to know mum was looked after by such lovely people.

My mum has been using Thorn Springs for several months for respite care. She is 94 and needs extra support, and time to relax and be looked after on occasion. Having visited several care homes and using one other, we have found Thorn Springs to be most suitable. Great rooms, excellent staff who always
offer support. A well publicised activities schedule each need from excercizes and Elvis paying a visit. Would recommend for short or long term care.

In the short time that my husband has been at Thorn Springs I have been pleasantly surprised at how well he has settled in + how quickly the staff got to know him. There is a relaxed but professional atmosphere + as a family were made to feel comfortable in making a cup of tea + using the various social
rooms. It was lovely to use the sky bar when family and friends got together + we often go to the garden room for a quiet chat together.

My mother has been here in the care home for about 18 months now. I fly over from Belfast regularly to spend precious time with her. Every time I visit my mother is very happy and content, which means so much to me as her son. She has settled in very, very well, and for that I am very grateful. The
staff and management are exceptional and always greet with warmth. I can't fault this care home, and thanks to all the staff and management who look after my mum so well.

My mother hs been here for more than a year and I have to say that she has come to an excellent place. The staff here are so caring and try to do all their best for everyone here. You never see them without a smile while they are with the residents. The decorations put up in the common room are amazing,
always with the idea of cheering the residents up.

Mum has been made to feel very welcome at Thorn Springs. After living in her home for 89 years where she was born, it is lovely that she feels settled and now talks of Thorn Springs as her home. The staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and its peace of mind as a family that she is happy
and being taken such good care of. Dinners have been a bit of an issue but have improved since residents have been involved in meetings, excellent that their views are considered so highly. A big 'thank you' to everyone at Thorn Springs.

I became a permanent resident in July 2025. It was a good decision as I lived on my own. To no longer have the responsibility of running a home and feeling safe and in a friendly atmosphere was well worth the upheaval.

We cannot thank the team at this wonderful care home enough. From the moment we arrived to visit our sister, we were welcomed like royalty - greeted with genuine warmth, kindness, and even a lovely lunch. The manager and her staff show such love and compassion in the way they look after our sister,
treating her not just with professional care but with true affection. It is clear that she is not only safe but also cherished here, which gives us such peace of mind as a family. The hugs, the smiles, and the thoughtfulness from everyone make this unique place feel like a real home. We are so grateful for all that you do.

My experience at Capwell Grange was a good one. I was there nearly 4 weeks and the staff became a family to me although my own family are amazing. The physios and staff got me back on my feet and my confidence returned. As I have had MS for many years was not an easy achievement. I have now returned
home with carers attending.

My wife has Alzheimers' and became a resident at Thorn Springs last December. It was a very difficult decision to place her in a care home, but I am so pleased that I chose Thorn Springs.
The environment of the home is superb, it is spacious and well equipped. The rooms and the communal areas are very
comfortable. The food is good too. There is excellent planning of regular activities, including visits outside the home.
Above all the staff are fantastic - I cannot praise them enough. They are caring and supportive, both for residents and for families. Supporting someone with Alzheimers' can be very challenging, but my wife has always been cared for respectfully and kindly. Their concern has been to understand my wife, her difficulties, and how best to care for her.
I am a regular visitor, and I have seen that over the months she has been at the home, my wife has become settled and content. This is entirely down to the support the carers have given her.
Reply from Julie Caygill, Hospital Liaison Team Administrator at Thorn SpringsDear Michael,We'd like to take a moment to thank you for leaving such a wonderful review of our home. It means so much to our colleagues when they receive this level of praise; they work tirelessly throughout the year to deliver the kindest possible care to residents and hearing such fantastic feedback is really the icing on the cake to them!Thank you, once again, for your kind words.
