My mum has moved there a few months ago and is happy, busy and has settled in very well, so well she has decided to stay permanently. There are many activities daily Monday to Sunday to keep the residents busy. Some of the staff are excellent and make every day fun and mum has had a good laugh playing silly games. My mother was always a bit of a challenge but fortunately the team at Thorn Springs are always up for a challenge! Thorn Springs was recommended to us as "the" care home in the locality and one visit was enough to convince us. The home is modern and light with good facilities (including a hairdressing salon, library, cocktail bar and cinema) and plenty of staff. The residents benefit from a wide range of activities, including trips out, and the GP visits every week. Everyone, from the front desk to the laundry staff, know the residents and how they are getting on, and they all made a huge positive difference to the final years of mother's life. As ever, a team's performance is highly dependent on its leadership, so take a bow Katie and Tracy! Thank you all.

Having visited several care homes and using one other, we have found Thorn Springs to be most suitable. Great rooms, excellent staff who always offer support. A well publicised activities schedule each need from excercizes and Elvis paying a visit. Would recommend for short or long term care.

In the short time that my husband has been at Thorn Springs I have been pleasantly surprised at how well he has settled in + how quickly the staff got to know him.
