Overall Experience

The staff at Hambleton Grange showed my mother kindness and loving care throughout her journey with Alzheimer's. They did the same for all her family, and we will always be forever grateful to them all. It has been such a difficult time, but from Sandra (the manager), Lindsey on reception and all the

caring team, my mother could not have been better looked after. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

First day I arrived was so strange, but soon I met the other clients and it changed. Soon we were playing simple games of cards, dominoes, etc, and from then on it was very sociable. The quizzes were great, and the craft sessions, and I soon settled in and met loads of the residents, which was wonderful.

The staff were very heloful and didn't take over what we were doing. I settled very well after that.

Overall Experience

Our mum was in another home previously to this. Hambleton Grange is hands down, head and shoulders, 100% better than any other home we looked at. Staff know all of the residents. Their genuine kindness and care is humbling to see. Sandra is amazing, kind, caring, approachable, practical and a sincerely

nice person. She leads by example. HG is a shining example to other homes. Only 1 regret - We didn't find HG 18 months ago. Heartfelt thanks to you all.

Overall Experience

My mum has been living in Mossdale for some time now and I genuinely couldn't ask for a better place for her. The staff are simply wonderful - warm, caring and always go the extra mile to make her feel safe, valued and loved. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming and there's a real sense of community.

It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she's surrounded by such kind hearted people everyday. Truly a home full of heart!

Overall Experience

When I first enquired about respite care for my brother-in-law so my sister could have a break, staff were so kind, compassionate, understanding, informative and helpful. Whilst my brother-in-law was a resident he was well-cared for. Every member of staff knew him and his name and were very respectful

and made sure he was well cared for. He was always well presented and staff were aware when he wasn't eating much and made sure he had something he fancied. The maintenance man helped with his tv and the gardener did a good job of keeping the grounds beautiful.

Overall Experience

My first experience of residential care and I can say in all honesty I am not disappointed. The staff are wonderful and fully invested in the residents. The residents are always happy and the atmosphere is joyful. There have been some great entertainment and trips recently which can be attended by family,

indeed it is welcomed. My relative loves the entertainment/activities coordinator - who has made a real difference.

My respite stay at Ebor Court was delightful. The staff and management were extremely helpful and caring. I was made to feel welcome and at home from the moment I stepped in. My wife and pet dog were always greeted warmly when they came to visit. The whole experience was excellent.

From the first show round our experience has been excellent. My dad was extremely distressed when he first came in. The staff dealt with him with care and respect and supported us as a family.
