Dear Darren,
Thank you for taking time to speak with us. We established that we have shared incidents with you at the time and that following injuries we have involved clinicians. At Mossdale Residence we care for people who do not require constant supervision, staffing levels are based on dependency and are regularly reviewed. I am sorry that you felt you only saw someone for a short period of time during your visit, however I can confirm staffing levels were correct at that time. Clothing is labelled and our laundry team ensure they are returned, however sometimes some of our memory care residents can move items, I am sorry that this has happened. Property lists are completed, photographs are taken so that any property can be identified. We previously spoke about a ring being too large for your mother and placed this in safekeeping until it could be returned. HC-One offers a varied nutritionally balanced menu which provides choice. We monitor our residents’ weights and where risks are identified we introduce fortified choices and refer to GP and dietician. Thank you for agreeing to meet with us in person so we can discuss your concern in detail together, learn from it and plan for the future.
