Our all inclusive fee gives peace of mind and allows residents to enjoy our facilities and services without having to worry about extra costs. It includes a monthly appointment at our onsite hair salon, regular chiropody appointments, a full and varied activity program, annual eye tests, annual dental check ups and transport and accompaniment to medical appointments where necessary.

When I first enquired about respite care for my brother-in-law so my sister could have a break, staff were so kind, compassionate, understanding, informative and helpful. Whilst my brother-in-law was a resident he was well-cared for. Every member of staff knew him and his name and were very respectful
and made sure he was well cared for. He was always well presented and staff were aware when he wasn't eating much and made sure he had something he fancied. The maintenance man helped with his tv and the gardener did a good job of keeping the grounds beautiful.

My first experience of residential care and I can say in all honesty I am not disappointed. The staff are wonderful and fully invested in the residents. The residents are always happy and the atmosphere is joyful. There have been some great entertainment and trips recently which can be attended by family,
indeed it is welcomed. My relative loves the entertainment/activities coordinator - who has made a real difference.

My respite stay at Ebor Court was delightful. The staff and management were extremely helpful and caring. I was made to feel welcome and at home from the moment I stepped in. My wife and pet dog were always greeted warmly when they came to visit. The whole experience was excellent.

Cannot thank all the staff at Ebor enough for all they do for Dad and us. We were unsure we were doing the right thing but we were made so welcome from our first visit. I cannot praise the staff and manager at Ebor Court enough. They are so kind and helpful. My mum is treated with dignity and kindness. Everyone is so friendly. As well as helping the resident, they also help the family with settling in a relative. The activities offered are amazing. Could not have chosen

Ebor Court has a very homely feel. The areas are all well-decorated and maintained. What really makes Ebor different is the staff. They all really go out of their way to make each resident feel at home, with personal care tailored to each individual's needs. There is always something going on for he
residents: days out, events, parties, games, baking, arts + crafts. The food is also fantastic, plenty of choice and all made fresh.

From the first show round our experience has been excellent. My dad was extremely distressed when he first came in. The staff dealt with him with care and respect and supported us as a family. Since then he has settled, and we are so happy with his care. A very difficult time has been made easier with

Mum has been resident for a year now. We lost my father last year. Mum has had so many distressing times over the year. She's lost everything. Every single member of staff has been there for her. They have become her extended family. They have held her hand, listened, comforted, laughed and cried with

Since my mom arrived, she has never asked to come home. She settled really well, staff are caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. All in all we are very happy with the care she is receiving!!

My mum has been a resident for almost 3 years. This was the 2nd home we viewed and thought it was wonderful. It still is! The staff are very competent and friendly and so very caring. My mum is very happy and content. There is a great selection of entertainment on offer every day so life is never boring.
There's a well-stocked bar - Mum loves a G+T! All in all I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Well done all.

My mother needed urgent care following my father's death. She had to leave her home of 60+ years and move many miles. It was very difficult for her and also for me as her carer. The home manager, front of house manager and the admission coordinator were brilliant in facilitating the arrangements. My
mother was immediately impressed by the food, the friendly staff and the cleanliness. She is treated with dignity, care and compassion, as I am as her carer. She is now visibly brighter and fitter. She has rapidly become part of the community at the home. She has also just decided to extend her stay.

Putting my mum into a care home was something I never wanted or expected to have to do, but after she became unsafe at home due to dementia, it was necessary for her safety and my peace of mind. I looked around 3 homes and Ebor Court stood out. The staff seemed so caring. The food amazing and the activities
well planned with so much enthusiasm. I haven't heard mum, sing in years but now she spends a lots of time singing, mainly one famous persons songs! Staff have also been very supporting and patient with me which has helped me quell my concerns and worries. I would highly recommend Ebor Court to anyone looking into moving a loved one into care.

I am a weekly visitor to Ebor Court. I always receive a warm, professional welcome at reception. I visit residents on all floors in the social areas and am accompanied to individuals' rooms. The home is extremely clean, the residents are well looked after (with personalised rooms that are clean and
appear to be well fed) with plenty of activities to engage them. The staff are kind, actively involved and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ebor Court as it provides a caring and supportive environment. I can't comment on all categories below as I am only a visitor.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Yvonne has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.


Working at Ebor Court, Yvonne closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Yvonne remarked:
“Being able to share my passion for giving kind care with all staff within the home, ensuring the people in our care are living their best lives.”


Yvonne has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievements being Raising her three sons and becoming a personal trainer, working with the elderly promoting healthy living and the benefits of regular exercise.


Outside of work, Yvonne enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, going to the gym and socialising with friends.
