Mum moved into Ebor Court following the traumatic loss of her husband. She was low and withdrawn; her motivation and mobility were particularly affected. Since arriving, she has improved no end, being more positive and willing to participate in activities and exploring new areas of interest. Her
mobility has improved too, and this has meant greater independence to her. This is down to the quality of staff, who have taken the time to listen, to get to know mum and understand what would help her lead a more fulfilled life. They are proactive in doing this, and their approachable, sincere, professional and genuinely caring attitude is a credit to the caring profession. My perception of care homes has been transformed as much as my mum's life in Ebor Court. The organisation, facilities and most importantly, staff are all working to a high standard to achieve this.

Mum moved into Ebor court after 3 years in another care home which I was dissatisfied with. I have been delighted with the care & support mum has received since her move & am delighted with her overall care. It saddens me to say that members of staff staff are leaving for better pay options at other
care homes. The staff & management at Ebor Court are outstanding & should be cherished.

Lovely friendly reception from staff on arrival. Clean, bright, fresh smelling. Lots of activities on display. Can tell staff are happy and residents are well cared for. Love areas for eating, hairdresser and record player. Would love a place near me for parents if needed.

Ebor Court really looks after it's residents. All the staff are wonderful, very caring. They all work really hard, providing lots of entertainment for the residents.

When I first enquired about respite care for my brother-in-law so my sister could have a break, staff were so kind, compassionate, understanding, informative and helpful. Whilst my brother-in-law was a resident he was well-cared for. Every member of staff knew him and his name and were very
respectful and made sure he was well cared for. He was always well presented and staff were aware when he wasn't eating much and made sure he had something he fancied. The maintenance man helped with his tv and the gardener did a good job of keeping the grounds beautiful.

My first experience of residential care and I can say in all honesty I am not disappointed. The staff are wonderful and fully invested in the residents. The residents are always happy and the atmosphere is joyful. There have been some great entertainment and trips recently which can be attended by
family, indeed it is welcomed. My relative loves the entertainment/activities coordinator - who has made a real difference.

The atmosphere in the care home is always upbeat and positive. Activities are a huge part of the residents day to day conversation. It is marvellous to hear our relative say how much they enjoy being here, it's a great testament. Long may it continue.

My respite stay at Ebor Court was delightful. The staff and management were extremely helpful and caring. I was made to feel welcome and at home from the moment I stepped in. My wife and pet dog were always greeted warmly when they came to visit. The whole experience was excellent.

Cannot thank all the staff at Ebor enough for all they do for Dad and us. We were unsure we were doing the right thing but we were made so welcome from our first visit. Thank you will never be enough for everything you all do. Dad is happy and we are very happy with everything Ebor offers and the
staff are true heroes. Always go above and beyond.

I cannot praise the staff and manager at Ebor Court enough. They are so kind and helpful. My mum is treated with dignity and kindness. Everyone is so friendly. As well as helping the resident, they also help the family with settling in a relative. The activities offered are amazing. Could not have
chosen a better care home for Mum.

From the first show round our experience has been excellent. My dad was extremely distressed when he first came in. The staff dealt with him with care and respect and supported us as a family. Since then he has settled, and we are so happy with his care. A very difficult time has been made easier
with the support and compassion of the home.

Mum has been resident for a year now. We lost my father last year. Mum has had so many distressing times over the year. She's lost everything. Every single member of staff has been there for her. They have become her extended family. They have held her hand, listened, comforted, laughed and cried
with her. I could not have wished for a more compassionate and caring group of people. Thank you for for putting an arm around us and being there.

Since my mom arrived, she has never asked to come home. She settled really well, staff are caring and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. All in all we are very happy with the care she is receiving!!

My mum has been a resident for almost 3 years. This was the 2nd home we viewed and thought it was wonderful. It still is! The staff are very competent and friendly and so very caring. My mum is very happy and content. There is a great selection of entertainment on offer every day so life is never
boring. There's a well-stocked bar - Mum loves a G+T! All in all I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Well done all.
