My uncle has been with Ebor for approximately two months and I have been impressed with all services.

My mum lived at Ebor Court for 19 months. Ebor Court is a warm friendly place and mum settled straight away. All staff seemed well trained and interested in their work and in mum. The care he received was of a high standard, some staff, in particular, were excellent and they all seemed to have a good relationship and understanding of her. She was well-fed, and encouraged into activities, both in and out of the home hen available. Ebor Court is spacious, calm, inviting and I was always be made to feel welcome when visiting. I felt mum was well cared for, safe and content - this was a great comfort during covid restrictions when we couldn't visit. Sadly mum died in October 2020 but the staff and managers made sure good end-of-life care was provided in conjunction with GP District Nurse, and we were able to be with her at the end. I can confidently recommend Ebor Court - I work in Health Care myself!

My mum moved into Ebor Court at the start of the year and was initially very teary and reluctant to get involved in activities, The staff have been amazing, finding activities to suit her interests - even holding a mini-concert. She is really happy and settled (and importantly safe) during the lockdown. I can't thank the staff enough for always being upbeat and friendly and just very caring.
Thank you so much for your review of Ebor Court. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents. Thank you again for the kind words which I shall be sure to pass on.
When my mum's husband had a bad fall and had to be in the hospital for 5 weeks, and subsequently moved into a care home, as mum wasn't able to look after him, it was a life-changer. Living on her own at the age of 80, mum found it very difficult, and it soon became clear that she also would have to go into a care home, for her health and wellbeing. Things were getting worse with mum going out into the street late at night and the winter nights were drawing in. Becoming more concerned about her safety, I came across the details of Ebor Court, and as it was only 3 miles from where she lived, and it meant that her friends, especially her two neighbours, could also visit her. When we went to look at Ebor Court, the staff were so helpful and attentive that we knew straight away that this was the right place for her. Nearly a year later, mum has blossomed at Ebor Court, and the staff have become more like friends than just people who look after her. Mum is very happy and would never want to leave.

My grandma has resided here for the past month and I couldn't be happier with Ebor Court. the place is immaculate. You walk into a friendly, caring atmosphere and there is a really lovely feel to the place. The carers and staff are lovely too and there always seems to be plenty of activities on offer.

Overall, excellent. My only concern is the lack of security of the rooms, any resident can access any of the rooms, especially at night. The ensuite shower rooms are too small for disabled access without any company.
