Mum has lived at Ebor Court for eighteen months now, where she continues to receive excellent care and support. It’s a joy to visit and witness her much-improved health and well-being. She really enjoys the café and other activities. The staff are first class and try very hard to make it a fulfilling and safe place to live.
A well-run care home with great staff and good facilities.
Nice clean and friendly atmosphere, very helpful staff. Father is happy and settled as could be hoped for. I have no issues with his care. I would not hesitate to recommend Ebor Court.
Thank you for your lovely review, it’s great to hear your father is so settled with us.
Our elderly parent moved into Ebor in May 2023 at a difficult time in our lives. Ebor offered safety, care and professionalism which provided critical support for both the parent and the rest of the family. Ebor has kept to its promises of continuing compassionate care, and we have no hesitation in recommending the home and its staff to other potential residents.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, we are glad to have been there to support yourself and your parent. We will always put the care of our residents at the forefront of everything we do and we are glad that this has shone through.
The professionalism of the team has been a real support and comfort to my wife and our family at a very difficult time.
They put lots of energy and creativity into providing a deeply caring, fun and warm environment.
They are also very skilled in meeting the medical and mental health needs of the residents, giving access to a wide range of professionals who understand and can meet those needs.
We are delighted that we have the support of Ebor Court at this demanding time in our life.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we are so pleased to be there to both care for your mother-in-law and support you and your wife. We know that a loved one moving into care can be difficult, with emotional conversations and a wealth of information to wade through, and we will always try to support and guide you through it all.
Ebor Court is an amazing care home. Residents and families are given support and respect. There is always a friendly welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to send in such a lovely review.
There is always a very warm welcome for me and my family as soon as we step through the front door. We can see Mum is in a safe, clean and stimulating environment. There is an atmosphere of fun which is seen through the provision of quality, colourful and relevant displays around the home which are updated throughout the seasons. All of the staff have been very caring towards Mum and also to our family. We can clearly see she is happy and very well looked after. There is always gentle encouragement by the staff to join in the activities and respect if she declines.
Thank you for taking the time to send a review. Our home is not only safe and caring but stimulating and entertaining for our residents. Ebor Court is our resident’s home and they will always feel included and respected and their loved ones will always be welcome.
The home has very caring staff. Our family cannot fault their commitment to the residents and their families. We are kept well up to date with Mum's movements and health. Mum is so positive about her care, despite having dementia and is stimulated to be active mentally and physically.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it's lovely to hear that your mum has such a positive outlook and we are always happy to keep you in the loop.
My brother came for respite care a year ago after a long stay in hospital. He was made so welcome that he wanted to stay and funded himself for a long-term stay. He has complex medical needs as well as mental needs being Bipolar of 16 years. Every aspect of this home is truly top-notch, care, food and activities are amazing and have such an eye for detail and this reflects on all the staff.
Thank you for leaving such a lovely review, we are so pleased to have become a happy long-term home for your brother. Ebor Court is a wonderful community and we are happy he has fit in so well and taken advantage of our wonderful facilities.
My father moved to Ebor Court initially on a short-term basis which we converted happily to permanent earlier in the year. We feel he is well cared for and there is a wide range of activities appropriate to his level of dementia. His room is always kept clean and tidy and the food seems very good. Communication with family members by management and staff is very good and we are always made to feel very welcome when we visit. Would recommend it to anybody as couldn't ask for any more.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your father is definitely not the first person to come for a short stay but not want to leave! We are so pleased that we can reassure you that he is in the best place with the absolute best care.
My mum has been in Ebor Court for just over a year. It has been such a relief for us to know she is somewhere where she is looked after so well. The staff are all so friendly and keep us updated on Mum. They are so good at entertaining the residents. Overall we are very happy she is at Ebor Court.
Thank you for sending a review, its lovely to hear your mum has settled so well and we are so pleased we can offer you the reassurance that she is well cared for and happy with us, long may it continue.
My mother is receiving the best care possible at Ebor Court Care Home. The staff are so lovely, kind and caring to all the residents there. They treat them like they would their own parents, it's so lovely to see. It's always a pleasure to visit Mum especially on a Wednesday morning when they have the coffee morning, she loves that as it's like a slice of normality. It's well staffed, spotlessly clean and they always make us welcome. They have lots of activities and visitors to the home to keep her entertained, singers are especially liked, with the occasional trip out which is lovely. Mum loves living here and it has a great atmosphere of loving and respect. As a family we really appreciated their social media and photos of mum enjoying life there. Thank you to all the staff.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, it sounds like your mum is having a fabulous time at Ebor Court, which is exactly what we hope for! It’s great that you can join us for the coffee mornings and that your mum is taking advantage of the activities we have on offer. We hope...
My aunt is very happy and settled at Ebor Court, having made the decision to move from another local care home last year. Activities are excellent, and she has especially enjoyed coffee mornings and local trips out. The staff are very willing to go the extra mile to help. The food is nutritious, and there are always good choices. My aunt is very well cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are really pleased that your aunt has settled in well and is taking advantage of the activities we put on. We hope she continues to be entertained, well fed and happy!
Nice and warm and quiet. Friendly staff.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it sounds like Ebor Court is ticking all the boxes and we are very glad to hear it!
Absolutely no concerns at all about the care my mother receives. Excellent staff team, always keep me up to date with any problems.
Thank you for your review we are so pleased that you are happy with your mum’s care.
The staff are excellent.
The care is marvellous.
Thank you for your review, we can’t really ask for more than that!
Always a pleasure to visit with friendly and helpful staff.
My husband received the best care possible at Ebor Court. The staff were kind and caring to my husband and it was obvious that they really loved their jobs. It was a pleasure to visit. It is well staffed and always spotlessly clean. Thank you.
Thank you for your review of Ebor Court. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are proud of the dedication our staff show and it's wonderful to hear how supportive they have been during your Husband's stay at Ebor Court. I will pass on your kind words to the team.
My mum has now been at Ebor Court for 2 and a half years following the death of my dad who was her carer. I chose Ebor for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. Mum is very well cared for with quick access to any medical treatment she needs. There are lots of activities within the home as well as trips out (prior to covid-19). All the staff are wonderfully caring and mum is known and loved.
We first explored Ebor Court as a care home for Mum a year ago. It was during the lockdown, so the tour was virtual, and the assessment of needs was by video. This did not in any way detail from the information gathering. Mum settled in very quickly and soon forgot she'd ever lived anywhere else. We really appreciate the Facebook page and the photos of Mum (and others); it's clearly a well-run and happy place.
Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review and for the lovely comments. We are so pleased to hear you would recommend us and these reviews also go some way to help other families in a similar position of looking for a care home. We are sure they will find your comments very valuable.
