Mum moved into Ebor Court in June 2020 after a fall at home. Although we were unable to go in the home, the staff made a very difficult time go as smoothly as possible. They enabled us to see Mums room and arrange the furniture via Zoom. They spoke to us at length about Mum and her interests, family, likes and dislikes to ease her transition. They listen to our concerns, communicate well with us and continue to provide a safe, happy place for our Mum. If Mum can't be at home, then I can't think of anywhere else I would rather she was!

Ebor Court has been friendly, welcoming and provided excellent care for my grandma during the Covid pandemic. We felt she was safe and cared for whilst we were unable to visits. The Facebook page is fantastic for catching snapshots of what your relatives have been doing!

The family have found Ebor Court excellent in their care for our mother. She arrived in a difficult situation during Covid and a stay in the hospital, but the staff and care she receives in Ebor Court have helped us come to terms with the situation. It would be good to be able to visit in Mums room when she's unwell.
My mother moved into Ebor Court a month or two ago when it became clear that it would be in her best interest as she was frail after a broken hip and neglecting herself and could no longer do dimples daily tasks due to dementia. She refused care at home. She is now settled for the most part at Ebor Court, and this is down to the brilliant, caring, sympathetic carers. Management is efficient, friendly and responsive. I have recommended Ebor Court to friends and will continue to do so. All our family are very grateful to Ebor Court.
Thank you so much for your review of Ebor Court. We are so pleased to hear that your mum's move has been a positive experience for you all. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents. Thank you again for the kind words, which I shall be sure to pass on.
My mother has been at Ebor Court for almost two years now and I have always felt confident that she is being cared for. The staff are considerate and do their best to ensure residents live a good life, with plenty of interaction and activities. Their handling of the covid pandemic has been reassuring, putting the safety of residents first but putting systems in place for families to keep in contact with loved ones.

Mum has been at Ebor Court for over 2 years. Staff, and management, have been consistently caring and attentive; nothing is ever too much trouble. Mum is always well cared for, encouraged to participate in activities, and listened to when she's either unwell or unhappy as a result of her dementia. Staff have made every attempt to keep us in touch with Mum, and with any developments, during the difficult months we've had. She couldn't be in better hands!

Ebor Court is a fantastic care home, they are all amazing staff. I couldn't wish for a better place. Even under the times they are now, everyone has kept going, keeping the residents happy and content. Hopefully one day soon we all can come back into Ebor Court. Staff always make you welcome and we like to join in with all that is going on.
Thank you so much for reviewing our home. We appreciate your kind words and will make sure your comments are passed on to the whole staff team.
My dad moved into Ebor Court in Feb 20 after a spell in hospital. He was 94 and becoming frailer and less able to look after himself. The staff at Ebor Court welcomed him like an old friend, quickly settling him in. He enjoyed the seven weeks he was a resident but his illness returned and due to circumstances, end-of-life care was administered at the home. He couldn't have been made more comfortable and the family received every support needed.
Thank you so much for your kind words regarding our Ebor Court home and staff. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us at what must be a difficult time for you and your family. We would like to ensure you and your family always feel welcome to come back and join us...
Do not visit my aunt but from the Facebook entries, all clients appear to be well entertained and cared for during lockdown. Disappointing government hasn't allowed visits. Particularly distressing when a relative does not recognise you due to dementia.
Thank you so much for your kind words regarding our home and staff. Feedback is extremely important to us and it is encouraging for our staff to receive such positive feedback. We will ensure that your comments are passed to the whole team.
Ebor Court immediately provided a welcoming and transparent attitude. I visited the care home without making an appointment and was able to have a guided tour of the entire home without having to return for an arranged viewing. This indicated that I was not seeing a "staged" version of the home. I was impressed with the light and airy feel of the communal areas - good facilities for residents to bathe safely. There were lots of roomy and bright communal rooms for residents to use instead of being in their own rooms. The food which I tried for myself was excellent with good choices. Residents' personal rooms were not big - but adequate - my reason for making rooms 'good'.

My mother has been a resident in Ebor Court since June 2019. She has been extremely well looked after, especially considering her age (now 104). When able to visit (pre covid) I was always impressed by the staff and facilities.

Mum has now been at Ebor Court for 14 months and has thrived. She has put on weight which was needed as she wasn't eating. She loves her life at Ebor Court. The staff have been amazing during lockdown keeping residents safe and stimulated.

We are so pleased to hear you would recommend us and these reviews also go some way to help other families in a similar position of looking for a care home. We are sure they will find your comments very valuable.
My mum moved into the home early July and with the current restrictions, I have not actually been in the home, hence my good comments and not excellent as not seen for myself just through the windows. But Mum seems very happy and is being cared for very well. Unfortunately, not seeing Mum is hard, but they post pictures on Facebook all the time and she looks very happy. Lots of activities for her and beauty treatments which she will love. All in all, a very lovely care home.
Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on creating a community within our homes with an abundance of social activities, and I am so pleased to hear that this is what you have found at Ebor Court. The staff team will be delighted to hear your positive feedback which I shall be sure to pass on.
Great team. Some remarkable staff, compassionate, professional and engaged with residents. You will see understanding, fairness and love when you visit. Good setting, albeit from could do with better beds, but as a home for loved ones it's fabulous.

My mum has dementia and moving into residential care was extremely traumatic for her. Thanks to the excellent skills of the team at Ebor Court, she quickly settled and is now very happy there. I'm impressed with how quickly the care team pick up and dealt with any health issues my mum may have. Also, I'm impressed with the great range of activities for residents - it's lovely to see her taking part in these and having such fun.

In view of the unusual circumstances we are experiencing, I feel that the whole package of my care and comfort is of good quality and much appreciated.

The staff are amazing especially at present under such difficult circumstances with Covid. At the end of mums life, I was especially grateful for their genuine concern for mum, myself and my sister. Not just a care home but a home and family.

I have always found all members of the team from care home manager, front of house team to all the carers, very thoughtful and considerate. Mum was always fiercely independent but now that she is frail and needs care, she has settled in and is content. This reflects how the home are caring for her and she seems comfortable and content. Unfortunately, we can only catch up with mum via phone or skype but I'm confident that as soon as visiting is allowed again, this will be organised promptly - this means a lot as we miss our loved one.
