Having spent almost 3 years in Lydgate Lodge Care Home mum sadly passed away on the 29 May 2026. It was so lovely to see both staff and other residents at mum's funeral yesterday. The care that she received at Lydgate Lodge was fantastic. Many of the carers became her friends and she looked forwards
to the daily and often cheeky interactions that took place from both sides. As mum finally started to slip away they treated her with sensitivity, dignity, respect and a deep sense of compassion. Many of the staff were as distressed by her passing, as our family was. Those staff who cared for mum, throughout her stay at Lydgate Lodge, should be so proud of themselves for the care that they gave her, which was filled with love and selflessness. They were all a credit to their profession. Thank you. x

The whole staff team have been extremely kind and supportive to Dad throughout his respite/rehabilitation stay at Lydgate Lodge. It was a great relief to have this period between hospital and returning home, enabling him to regain some mobility and confidence whilst in a safe and pleasant environment.
The
staff were all very friendly, genuine, and visibly happy in their roles; providing kind support to the residents.
They strived to help Dad engage socially whilst respecting his sometimes need for his own quiet space.
Thank you to all.

I am writing to share my heartfelt praise for Daneside Mews, where my wife, who has dementia, has been a resident since the end of May 2026.
My wife is incredibly happy at the home. The staff treat her with the utmost dignity and demonstrate complete professionalism in everything they do - nothing
is ever too much trouble for them. The quality of the food, the excellent entertainment, and the staff's dedication to keep the residents happy are outstanding. They always have a kind smile and a word of comfort ready.
I have nothing but admiration for the way the team cares for my wife and all the other residents. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Danewise Mews to any family seeking exceptional care for their loved one.

Came to see my grandma for the first time since she's been at the home, a musical show had just finished and the service users were all given a cup of tea and a bun. The atmosphere of the place was lovely and the staff were all very caring. The maintenance man was making sure with all the residents
that it was ok for him to go in their room and to check what issues they might have had. Everyone knew everyone by name and everyone treated my grandma with kindness and respect. We were shown photos and videos of another recent performance and even found my grandma on the photo wall in one of the boards, she looks like she's having a great time and much happier to see her with people than at home by herself. We were also invited back for the summer fayre a week on Saturday. Thankyou for all you do

She is very well looked after here and the staff are lovely and go above and beyond to support her needs, my mum enjoys taking part in. The various creative activities provided, including musical entertainment which she loves to

Came to see my Mama this afternoon. She was watching a show but two ladies (manager I think) brought her to us and got us all settled in a little corner so we could spend time with her. She looked immaculate and cared for and appeared very happy. Everything about our visit was lovely and everybody couldn't
do enough for Mama and for us whilst we were there. A beautiful place for Mama to now be living and I'm certain the care she will continue to receive will be to an outstanding standard. Thank you for making a hard thing much easier.

My mother has only been a resident at Acorn Meadow for almost 3 weeks but she has settled into her new environment with ease. The staff are courteous, approachable and engaging, the facilities are clean and modern, and I am beyond delighted that we chose this care home for her. It gives the family such
satisfaction to see our mother the happiest we have seen her in several years. It's like she has a new lease of life. The activities that they have for the residents are regular and varied. It's a fabulous care home.

My mother has been in Kesteven Grange Care Home for the last 3 years. It is kept in very good condition, they are always cleaning, the room is spacious. Mam is always clean, she gets her hair done every week by the hairdresser. The food is all home-cooked with snacks in between. The staff are all kind

The welcome we receive each time we visit is excellent. The staff are so helpful- nothing is too much trouble. In fact, they go above and beyond! There is so much going on here, Every day something new and exciting happens. The residents always look so happy. The residents are made to feel extra special
on their birthday- they even get a wonderful cake!

Mum moved into Colton Lodges residential home a few weeks after her 100th birthday. She was happy and comfortable in her lovely room. The staff cared for her extremely well. After suffering a stroke and spending a few weeks in hospital Mum moved into the nursing care home where she was also well looked
after. Colton Lodges has a warm and welcoming atmosphere where staff are very friendly and respectful at all times and keep the family fully informed of any developments. Would definitely recommend.

Mum was admitted to Acorn Hollow for end-of-life care. From our first contact, when we arrived at the home to look at mum's room, the staff have been amazing. Given Mum's circumstances, they have ensured she has a quiet room. The staff have been so kind and gentle with her. The staff have been wonderful
with us, ensuring we are well fed. Mum has told us she feels happy and safe here. What more could we ask for? Acorn Hollow is a lovely place, even in such sad circumstances, and the staff now feel like friends.

Our experience of Acorn Hollow has been brilliant right from the start. The staff are exceptional, everybody including admin, housekeeping, care assistants, nurses and maintenance were friendly and only too happy to help. The level of care my mum is receiving during her end of life is wonderful.
She
doesn't eat the food, unfortunately, but it always smells/looks delicious!
