Mum has settled in very well. Staff are very friendly, always smiling, welcoming and approachable. Mum always looks well cared for and the home is always clean, with a homely decor. The daily activities are excellent and varied and we love seeing mum taking part. It's always a pleasure to visit.

Excellent , lovely, kind and thoughtful staff . The nursing care is good and the team seem to work together to create and calm and happy environment for the residents . They have entertainment and different activities going on most days .

I enjoy watching my mum singing and playing ball games which she enjoys, as arts and crafts she doesn't like joining in.

Mum is very happy. Can not fault the home. It is very friendly.

The manager and staff keep us fully informed. The home itself is always clean. Food is very good a wide variety of options. My dad also enjoys meals when he visits. There is always something going on and mum is encouraged to get involved. I believe the care she receives has helped to stabilise her condition.

Having experienced the home both as an employee and now as a family member of a resident, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We're very grateful to the team for everything they do for her.

My Nan has been a resident of Acorn Meadow for a few months now and it's wonderful to see how happy she is there. The home is secure, clean and modern, and Nan is taken great care of by the team. They arrange lots of fun and varied activities and it's great to see Nan get involved in these. When I visited last week for the charity SuperHero afternoon, it was clear to see how much time and effort went into organising the event. We had a brilliant time and it was good fun for all four generations of our family! Thank you Acorn Meadow.

My mother has been at Daneside Mews for a year and 7 months and I believe she likes it there. Whenever I can get there the staff are friendly and seem very caring. It must be such a difficult job and they always seem to be smiling and happy to be there. I'm always kept informed of any issues regarding my mother's health. I live a few hours away and so it's nice to know she is being cared for so well. Sometimes I can't be there however for any emergency A&E visits so it would be really helpful if she could be accompanied but I understand it's probably a staffing issue. I'm very pleased overall with the professionalism and care given.

They do a fantastic job with my nan and cant fault the home or staff at all.

Following a quite traumatic number of weeks in hospital and then intermediate care mum was taken to Acorn Hollow care home. The staff have been so lovely with her and our family. We feel secure in the fact she is being looked after.

We have been incredibly pleased with the high level of care our mother receives. The staff are compassionate, attentive and genuinely caring, giving our family great comfort in knowing that our loved one is safe, happy and so well looked after.

The support provided to our family has also been exceptional. Staff are always approachable, understanding and willing to help, making what can be a difficult time much easier for us all.

The dining options are excellent, with a great variety of meals and choices, and there is clearly a strong focus on residents' individual preferences and enjoyment. We are also very impressed with the activity and enrichment programme, which offers a fantastic range of activities and opportunities to stay engaged and socialise.

We are extremely grateful to the whole team for the care, kindness and support they provide. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our mother is in such safe and caring hands.

I just want to say what a great team of carers work here. From Manager Rachel, Fliss Office Manager right down to the laundry ladies and cleaners. All have time for you, are smiley and happy in their work, are kind and considerate to the residents. They all listen to the residents and nothing is too much trouble. If a resident asks for something they do their best to accommodate it.

I have nothing but praise for Acorn Hollow. My mum stayed here for end of life care and she was treated with such dignity and care throughout her stay. The staff are absolutely amazing and we felt confident mum was getting the care she deserved. The rooms, facilities and catering were all excellent. We couldn't have wished for a better place for our mum.

Mum has been in the home for a few months now and she has settled in well.On a personal level I feel that mum interacts well with all members of staff. Mum has been joining in with the activities that the home organise more than I thought she would. I have seen a change in mum she does seem a lot more observant. Mum can be a little stubborn when it comes to eating and drinking . The carers give a lot of support and encouragement when they are faced with this issue. Any medical concerns have been addressed without delay.

My Dad came to Acorn Meadow this year after a very difficult decision to place him in 24-hour care. Acorn Meadow made the transition calm and stress-free for both him and our family. All the staff are welcoming and always happy to help. My Dad now loves his second family at Acorn Meadow and really enjoys all the wonderful activities. He keeps telling me that he's "the star of the show"! Thank you all for everything you do. Definitely a 5-star home.

I'm writing the review with pure gratitude for the manager, deputy manager and all the staff. The manager and deputy manager both were very helpful when we needed emergency respite care and acted with pure compassion. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The home is great place with a person centred care approach and the facilities have the homely feel

My mother lives here, and the care is amazing. The staff treat her with true kindness and respect every day. The home is always clean, warm, and welcoming. She enjoys the lovely meals and fun daily activities. The team also keeps me well informed. I feel so grateful and at ease knowing she is safe and happy here.

It's hard to see your Mum disappearing to dementia and I feel the staff are very supportive of me as well as her.
