Mums care has been amazing, she came 2 1/2 years ago and all she has received is love, compassion, paitents, and genuine care. For all my mums needs the staff have always been there for mum and me, I would high reccomend anyone looking at placing their loved ones in the safe hands of Elworth Grange.

I can't thank the team at Elworth Grange enough. Everyone cares deeply and looks after residents. My father has been a resident for over a year and everyone is amazing. There are too many names to mention the managers the seniors and the carers, so wonderful carers that really care. The support staff,
cleaners, the lady that does the laundry, always looking out for the residents and also the visitors even when it can be a tough time, always there to support. I certainly cannot thank you all enough. You are but amazing care home. Thank you all very much a place to be proud of. The two ladies that supported us yesterday were beyond amazing. Thank you.

On discharge from the hospital, mum was in need of a couple of weeks' respite care while I set up care at home. In mum's words, "If you can't be at home, this is the best place to be. Everyone is so friendly. It's spotlessly clean; I get looked after, and lovely meals are put in front of me. There's
lots to do and people to talk to. The gardens are lovely to walk around. I'm going to miss being waited on when I go home."


The two weeks mum spent at Elworth Grange gave me peace of mind that she was being looked after and I was free from worry. It introduced her to somewhere she will hopefully be visiting on a regular basis when we need to be away from home. The staff are so friendly as soon as you walk through the door and there is a real feeling of "family" about the place.

I only have praise for Elworth Grange and its staff. My mum moved from another local care home and from day 1 she has been made welcome by all. The decor, facilities care etc have been wonderful and my mum has been included in all activities. The team have fully included me and kept me informed they

I have no doubt that there could be no better place for my father. The building, suites and facilities are well thought out and purpose-built recently from scratch. The staff in all respects are caring and supportive and open to requests to provide specific care needs. They treated my father with dignity
and friendliness, and he had a special rapport with some which was heartwarming. They also made the family very welcome and extended care to us as well as to my father. There has been a great effort to provide stimulating and inclusive activities for residents.

My father-in-law was a resident at Elworth Grange for 16 months. During this time his family were frequent visitors. We were delighted he came to regard Elworth as his home and the staff like a second family for him. The staff provide an exceptional level of care. On a personal level he was treated
with dignity and respect and very much as an individual as were all residents. Most importantly, the staff genuinely care about their resident's health and well-being. He was loved and cared for as if he were a member of an extended family.
Staff were quick to raise any concerns with the family and to discuss how his situation could be improved. When hospital visits were necessary we were always impressed with how quickly the paramedics arrived from the nearby hospital. Staff work very hard to keep residents mobile for as long as possible. Hospital stays result in loss of mobility. My father-in-law became mobile again in an astonishingly short time after surgery or long hospital stays. Thanks to all the staff for their dedication, skill and perseverance, his transformation was amazing to watch.
The family were all relieved that when palliative care was required he was able to avoid hospital and stay at Elworth. His last days at Elworth were as comfortable as possible with the district nurses on call and able to attend 24/7 if needed. Elworth is committed to caring for all its resident's relatives and we all experienced exceptional care, compassion love and practical advice from staff at all levels. During the last week of my father-in-law's life, his 4 children were able to be with him 24/7 in his room. (Not all at once, we took it in shifts). The staff fed us and comforted us which was remarkable! We all heartily recommend Elworth Grange Care Home to you, the staff are second to none, the facilities are excellent and the food is great too!

I just wanted to thank all the staff at Elworth Grange for a really fantastic 100th birthday party for Mum. They pulled out all the stops and got local schools, charities and businesses involved, she got over 140 cards thanks to the staff putting the word round and a card from the King! No less. The
day went great with all the residents joining in with the celebrations, cake, food, drink and entertainment were provided as well as a trip out in a posh car offered by a local dealership. So once again all my family thank Elworth for an unforgettable day.

For the two years I've been visiting, Elworth Grange has always been a caring place and I think it got even better following the appointment of the newish manager. I feel my mum is always treated as an individual and with respect and her relationship with the staff adds interest and enjoyment to her
life. I like the fact that they keep looking for different activities to offer.

Needed somewhere for my uncle the same day for respite care as house flooded. The management team were wonderful and went out of the way to help. He loves his new temporary home, he has made lots of friends and doesn't want to come home. The staff are so caring and very attentive. The food is amazing
quality and my uncle has put on weight. Thank you for caring for him so well, I can't recommend Elsworth Grange highly enough.

Mum’s admission to Elworth had a few paperwork hiccups, but the transformation in her well-being makes it all worthwhile. Her dementia had left her lonely and anxious and the supportive care team have shed years off Mum by making her feel safe and cared for. The facility is spotless, purpose-built and
welcoming. We could not be more grateful for finding such a good place for Mum to be looked after.

father got an infection which resulted in hospital admission, when ready for discharge he required respite care due to dementia and delirium. I happened to have a family holiday booked a week later. The team at Elwroth were utstanding in their help and assistance and left me with no doubt this care
home would more than meet my father's needs.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, always someone to ask about my mum's care. Her room is nice, light, bright and spacious. The area for meals and the sitting area are spacious, with views out of the windows. The meals are set out like eating in a restaurant, nice presentation.

From my arrival I consider this to be a haven. A very beautiful home, the furnishing extremely attractive, staff work extremely hard to care for residents. Sometimes like most homes with shortages of staff, having to train agency staff. The chef has a flair for cooking and a passion for attempting to
please us all. A lady chef and assistant are also talented. A real homely feel, and 24-hour care.

My dad has vascular dementia. Prior to moving to Elworth Grange dad had been in another care home for assessment for a period of 8 weeks. During his time at the other home, he started to have 'issues' with eating by himself and it concerned me greatly. I looked at a number of care homes for dad to call
his 'forever home' and Elworth Grange stood head and shoulders above any of the others, even those more expensive. As soon as you enter the building you get a good feeling. It's like a 5* hotel, luxurious, light, spacious, bright and spotlessly clean but homely, comfortable and welcoming. I was dreading 'the move' as dad had taken weeks to settle in the first home, hence the 8-week stay for assessment. Dad has only been at Elworth Grange for a short time but he has settled in brilliantly and his eating and appetite have improved which is a testament to the staff and the Elworth Grange approach to care. Kindness, patience, encouragement and dignity. A wonderful place to call home.

My dad has been at Elworth Grange for the last four weeks as an interim, before returning home from the hospital. The staff and facilities are completely wonderful and have provided an outstanding level of personable care and diligence with him catering to all of his mobility needs and being very patient
with him. His return home is tinged with sadness, as he was telling me how much he has enjoyed his time, the care, good food and socializing. The bedroom facilities are modern, spacious and well equipped, and my dad has loved the dining room and marvels at how much he feels like he is in a posh hotel. From a relative perspective, I was totally reassured at all times that my dad was receiving the best care at Elworth Grange - it is a fantastic place.
