Thank you for your kind review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. It is always a pleasure to receive warm feedback about our staff at Acorn Hollow. We are sorry to hear the food is served cooler than you would prefer; we do have safe systems of work to ensure food is served at the correct temperature. We will increase our oversight to ensure all is in order and we will look to ensure plates are prewarmed before food service as this may also be a factor. We will pass on to the staff team your kind comments regarding varied activities and our open policy to visiting. Once again, thank you for your review.

Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We greatly appreciate your kind comments regarding our staff at Acorn Hollow. We are sorry the food is not to your mothers's taste; you may be aware we offer an alternative snack menu but also that our chef team would be more than happy to consult with your mother to ensure they cater to her tastes. The home manager will closely monitor staff availability for bathroom assistance to resolve your concern raised where possible. Thank you for your recommendation.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We work on a seasonal menu which runs in a six week cycle. This is changed biannually for a spring/summer and an autumn/winter menu. The menu has two main choices and a vegetarian option for each meal, however in all our homes our residents can request alternatives should they not want anything on that day’s menu. We also carry out person of the day, where the chef will visit each resident and they are able to voice any likes or dislikes. Our menus are nutritionally analysed and are created from resident feedback and surveys done within the home.
