Excellent facilities and entertainment.
Staff are very friendly, both to mum and to visitors alike. Today has been brilliant. Well done.
Really enjoyed the food. No complaints with anything at all. Staff have been wonderful.
From the moment we walked in the building, we were made very welcome. The staff are extremely professional in every way. We feel our mum has made progress in such a short time. It feels very much like home to her. We are very grateful.
Grandma arrived a few days ago and the welcome was perfect. All our worries and questions catered for. We are enjoying the Royal Wedding today, the staff have made amazing effort for this day. We worried about this part of grandmas life. We are happy that she is safe, well cared for and treated with dignity. Thank you.
I would like to congratulate all the staff at Acorn Hollow on their recent inspection which was rated good. My dad, who has Dementia, is a resident and I would like to say how happy he is and how well he is looked after. The management and all the staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. The Home is clean and tidy and the meals exceptional.
They go out of their way to accommodate and look after the residents. They even got my dad food, meals and drinks he fancied when he was not feeling well. I cannot thank them enough for what they do for him.
I have no hesitation in recommending Acorn Hollow.
Having visited several care homes, Acorn Hollow ticked all the boxes for my wife and I to feel confident in housing my mother for her twilight years. The home felt warm and friendly with attentive staff both on a professional level, as well as their caring nature. The facilities are first class with craft work, knitting, bingo etc as well as trips out to shops, Chester Zoo and meals. Mum now after three months calls Acorn Hollow home.
Thanks to all staff for their help in getting her back on her feet.
A wonderful experience. Various activities always on offer. Staff always helpful.
My grandad loves being a resident. He is so well looked after, we don't have to worry about him. Everybody is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A massive thank you!
We recently had a death in the family - nursing staff were so supportive and I could not thank them enough for the help they gave to me. The management team are very approachable, always willing to help when issues arise.
Mum needed to be at several destinations during a recent funeral. Their maintenance/transport man offered his help asking for times and locations and took on all the responsibilities of transporting mum around. Service A1. Thank you!
I'm very happy with the care and support my family members receives. Staff are very kind and caring.
I have visited my uncle on several occasions and on most of these occasions the atmosphere within the home has been a happy one. My uncle says he is happy and has a good laugh with all the staff.
Visited my nan. Walked into the home and it was very clean and tidy. My grandmother recently enjoyed a trip to Blackpool and enjoyed the entertainment which has taken part in the home on numerous occasions. My nan also likes taking part in day time activities, for example; bingo and playing scrabble and many more activities that take place.
Found all staff caring, considerate, helpful, respectful a well-run home.
As a daughter worried about dad, it was a big thing to see him in a home for a while. My husband was poorly at the same time so it was lovely to see him so well looked after.
The care in Acorn Hollow is excellent in every aspect, the staff are professional, caring and I have every confidence in leaving my loved one in their care. The food is good and my husband has put on weight since being in the care of this home! We have enjoyed several super concerts in the last few weeks that were enjoyed by all. A happy happy place!!
Acorn Hollow is home from home. Food food, good friends, good staff. Fantastic.
He enjoys the activities and socialisation, as he was on his own at home.
He is being very well cared for.
