I have enjoyed my visit. Staff always seem very friendly.
Work hard, helpful, really care for my mum and others in their care. The staff and management I take my hat off to you, you work very hard indeed and go out of your way thank you.
My mother has been at Acorn Hollow for 10 months. Clearly, it's not what you expect for one of your parents but that said as a family we know that she is well cared for, comfortable and as happy as she can be without being at home. What more could we ask for as a family?
The atmosphere is always bright.
It is so good to see how relaxed and happy the residents are.
When I look at the menus I find them to be very good.
I know my Auntie really enjoys the meals.
It is lovely to see her so well.
The staff are caring and friendly.
The staff are kind, friendly and go the extra mile.
Mum has settled down well and is enjoying all the benefits Acorn Hollow Care Home offers. The food is excellent, entertainment good and her room is comfortable!! Our family are totally happy with the choice of this care home and can settle at home knowing mum is safe, happy and relaxed in the atmosphere.
Having to make the decision that our dad needed care home support was very traumatic for us as a family, but the staff at Acorns Hollow Care Home have been so kind and caring and shown us great understanding that we feel dad is in the best place and it is home from home for him.
The home is just so like home.
My husband is very happy and staff are pleasant. He's always got something to do.
Being in the council I know it is excellent, one of the best in the area as care homes go.
Lovely staff, especially the young woman in charge of wellbeing. Food substandard and cold.
Thank you for your feedback, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are very sorry that you feel the meals served are not to standard. We complete weekly dignity in dining experiences and all information collated is cascaded back to staff and kitchen staff so that any required actions can be taken.
I am very impressed with the way the residents are looked after.
Go Acorn Hollow!
A great place, a lovely team. She loves the activities provided and has settled really well.
My mother-in-law moved here 3 months ago and has settled in very well. The staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble.
Since my mother-in-law entered Acorn Hollow in May 2018. She has received care and attention which has been first class. The staff are caring and helpful and very attentive. They never fail to acknowledge us on entry.
We come on a Friday night with cakes and we just sit, talk and eat and the staff are so welcoming to us all.
I only have to ask and my problems are solved.
Thank you for making this very difficult time a little bit easier.
Acorn Hollow is home to me. All the staff work very hard. I'm treated well everyone is kind and caring. There's always something to do, art class is my favourite.
