Just want to say how amazing Priory Gardens care home are. We admitted our dad in for end of life care. At first he wasn't happy about the situation but he warmed to the lovely, caring staff who were all brilliant. Couldn't do enough for him. He passed away peacefully with dignity and the way the looked after him after passing was so touching.

Reply from Maxwell Andrews, Marketing Lead at Priory Gardens Care Home

Thank you for your kind words. We're so sorry for the loss of your dad. It means a great deal to know he came to feel at ease with the team, and that he was cared for with the dignity he deserved right to the end. The way he was looked after after passing matters to us just as much, and we're grateful you took the time to share this. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

My grandad has dementia and now lives in this care home. We are very happy with the care he receives. The staff are kind, caring and always treat him with dignity and respect. He is safe, happy and well looked after, it is reassuring to know that he is eating well and enjoying his meals. The staff work hard to create a comfortable and supportive environment and we are grateful for everything they do.

Since my husband moved in, it has given me great peace of mind knowing he is safe, happy and well looked after. Overall, I am very happy with the care he recieves from staff, as I know he can be very stubborn and staff can talk him round. I am very pleased with how has settled in.

My dad has been in Priory Gardens for approx 18 months. We as a family are happy with his overall care. There have been a couple of issues with his care but they have been addressed and quickly resolved. My dad is well cared for, all the carers are attentive to his needs and he likes them all. He can be stubborn at times but particularly with regard to food but they manage to coax him round. He does not partake in social activities but is encouraged to do so but that's his choice. He is sound of mind. I am contacted re any issues and kept updated.

Mum recently had lunch in dining room. Was a positive impact, stimulation and having the company of other residents. Carers and domestic team are supportive and provide reassurance to Mum when needed. The nursing team have been fantastic with pain management for Mum, she has complex needs and it's not easy to get the right balance. Mum provided with sensory aids, which she finds stimulatingting and relaxing.

My dad stayed here for a long while as he had mid dementia, and the daytime staff who he knew and loved treat him like gold, and made sure he was well looked after..he looked at them as family...the only thing id say is the food isnt that nice and not alot of portion size..but i always took dads food in for him anyways..sadly my dad got taken into hospital and never came back out again to be able to come back here, but i know certain staff will always remember him there as the cheeky chap he was....
