Care Homes Owned by HC-One - The Kind Care Company in Carmarthenshire

My dad has been here 6/7 weeks. I've called almost daily as I live nearby. I'm very happy he's here, as he's well looked after, and well fed and I know he's safe from harm.

My mam, Maureen spent a week in Llys Newydd, for respite care. On arrival we found all staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to help. A lovely, clean home environment and the staff explained everything, and I was more than happy to leave mam in safe and capable hands for all her care needs. Hopefully there will be vacancies for a future respite care for mam. Thank you.

From experience, Mum is very well cared for in a lovely environment. The staff are lovely and extremely caring, and very kind. My sister and I are kept very well informed with regard to mum's care.

I am always confident that my father is safe and well cared for by all at Llys Newydd.

I cannot fault the care my mother has and is receiving. The staff are always pleasant and professional. I am always informed of any problems. Medical help is always sought after when the need arises. Staff are diligent, hand working and often go over and above the call of duty. My mother has been a resident for a few years and I find the home to be very welcoming and pleasant. There are lots of activities which I have been able to participate.

The care my father recives is fantastic, the food is excelant, my father is very well looked after never hungry. Best care for my father is Llys Newydd would not change anything.

Overall the home covers everything for my mother, she would like to do more activities but since having macro digeneration. She is finding hard to see.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly, they look after my mother well and we are very happy with the home.

I cannot speak too highly of this care home and staff.

The care my aunt received during the last few months of her 104 years was second to none. Staff are wonderful and treated her with kindness, respect and dignity. The decision for my aunt to go into a care home was not easy, but we 100% made the right choice in making Llys Newydd her home and she was very happy there.

During this time she was always treated with dignity and respect. The care provided to her was exceptional by all members of staff. We have had many laughs over the years with Mum and the staff and were always made to feel welcome and party of the Llys Newydd family.

I have no complaints with the care home or staff. I would rate 10/10.

The care provided by the staff at Llys Newydd is second to none. Caring and supportive at all times. They provide a wonderful and homely atmosphere. The staff work so hard and yet always have time for a word or two and a smile; they provide an outstanding environment.

My husband is very happy in Llys Newydd Care Home. He enjoys the meals and eats well. He enjoys the odd day in his room and the staff are always checking on him. If asked, he says: " he loves it here". The staff are very patient with him at all times. He is kept clean and tidy always. They are also very kind and patient with me, as I do fuss over him, for me it's like a home from home.

There are always plenty of activities. It is a nice peace of mind knowing my mother is having excellent 24-hour care for her needs.

I am grateful for the care and kindness my mum receives at Llys Newydd. The staff are patient no matter what they have to deal with and do all they can to make Mum happy and keep her safe.

I can't thank the team at Llys Newydd enough for their guidance with this, my first experience of respite care, and for treating my husband and I with such great respect and kindness.
