From experience, Mum is very well cared for in a lovely environment. The staff are lovely and extremely caring, and very kind. My sister and I are kept very well informed with regard to mum's care.

Since my father became a resident at Llys Newydd we found the management and staff to be welcoming, professional and friendly in every circumstance regarding my father as a resident and myself and siblings as his family.
He seems content when left to himself and generally happy with the carers.

am always confident that my father is safe and well cared for by all at Llys Newydd.

I cannot fault the care my mother has and is receiving. The staff are always pleasant and professional. I am always informed of any problems. Medical help is always sought after when the need arises. Staff are diligent, hand working and often go over and above the call of duty. My mother has been a
resident for a few years and I find the home to be very welcoming and pleasant. There are lots of activities which I have been able to participate.

My mother took up residence in June 2023 following my fathers death. The care she received was wonderful. The staff were excellent and could not do enough for her. She was clean, had her hair and nails done regularly and fed well.
As she had dementia, was almost blind and deaf she could not participate
in all activities but the staff made time to attend to her on a one to one basis.
I cannot speak too highly of this care home and staff.

The care my aunt received during the last few months of her 104 years was second to none. Staff are wonderful and treated her with kindness, respect and dignity. The decision for my aunt to go into a care home was not easy, but we 100% made the right choice in making Llys Newydd her home and she was

During this time she was always treated with dignity and respect. The care provided to her was exceptional by all members of staff. We have had many laughs over the years with Mum and the staff and were always made to feel welcome and

A very friendly and warm care home. The staff work extremely hard. Lovely atmosphere, and all the residents seem happy and relaxed.
All residents are treated with dignity and respect.
There is a good variety of food - plenty of choice and is given to residents at different times of day.

A wonderful afternoon tea was put on for my dad's 90th birthday. A really nice spread, delicious food and a cake, and made my dad (who is blind and has had two recent hip replacements) feel very special.

My husband is very happy in Llys Newydd Care Home. He enjoys the meals and eats well. He enjoys the odd day in his room and the staff are always checking on him. If asked, he says: " he loves it here". The staff are very patient with him at all times. He is kept clean and tidy always. They are also

Every time I visit my mother, she is always clean and well presented. She has settled in really well which reassures me.

The team at Llys Newydd recently supported me with respite care for my husband who has early onset dementia. My husband's first words when he was welcomed in were its very nice here, we got that feeling of homeliness straight away. Everyone who was involved with his care and emotional support for myself
were exceptionally compassionate and caring, helping him settle and taking time to speak with me so that they were able to personalise his care. I was encouraged to keep in touch at any time for reassurance as this was a new experience for us both. My husband was made to feel at home and extremely well looked after. The room was well equipped, cosy and clean. The communal areas are bright and inviting with lovely outside space.
I can't thank the team at Llys Newydd enough for their guidance with this, my first experience of respite care, and for treating my husband and I with such great respect and kindness.

My mother was admitted to Llys Newydd at the height of the Covid outbreak in 2020. I have been extremely happy with the care she has received. The staff are invariably compassionate and professional. I would thoroughly recommend Llys Newydd. For the first time, in May 2021, I was able to visit my mother
in her room, on compassionate grounds. The room and the interior of the building are lovely. Spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. My heartfelt thanks to all who look after her with such care and dignity.

My only sister is in Llys Newydd Care home, I am 93 years o,d and my sister will be 90 in September. I have seen when visiting great kindness and care by the staff and will come to live here if I needed to (put my name down on the waiting list please).
