Ailsa Craig Care Home

The service my wife is receiving is informed, caring and friendly. The atmosphere of the home is welcoming, and the residents are encouraged to sit out in the lovely gardens when the weather is good. They also have a mini-bus for outings, a visiting hairdresser and podiatrist. There is a menu where
you can choose what you would like to eat in the company of other residents, or if necessary, in your own room. The staff are friendly, caring, informed, professional and are concerned to know about each resident, their preferences, personal and medical needs. I have also found that the staff include the family in the on-going care of their loved ones.
Thank you all at Ailsa Craig for your care and concern.

I cannot fault the home for how they treat my husband. My only complaint is that I feel they don't check his pad enough to see if he has done the toilet, other than that they treat him well and look after him. I know that then I leave, that the is in good hands and being looked after.

The staff in the home have been great. They treat us like family and if they see we are struggling they take time out to talk to us and reassure us. They care about their residents and take the time to get to know them and what they like. They also phone me to keep me in the loop if anything has happened
that day. All in all I cannot fault the home or any of the staff. They take great care of my dad and you can see that.

The atmosphere at Wyndford is always calm and happy. Staff are friendly and helpful, and our friend looks great with her hair nicely cut and styled. At times staff and residents seem in a party mood with music and dancing, a joy to see. The views from the windows are lovely. Excellent management and
staff moral.

Moving my husband to a care home was one of the hardest decisions I made. However, six months later I have to admit that decision put my husband in a safe, caring and happy environment. His personality prior to dementia shines again because he is comfortable in his new home. I owe this to the wonderful
and dedicated staff of Wyndford Locks because of the top notch care my husband is receiving. I can sleep at night knowing he is safe and looked after.

I am delighted with the care and attention my mum receives. The staff are so caring and attentive. I get regular updates from the staff. This helps me as I don't get to visit as much as I would like due to my caring for my father. At visiting the staff make us feel so welcome. My mum is always settled
and happy. The staff are always on the go, making sure everyone is made to feel welcome.

Since my younger sister moved from hospital following a stroke that has left her imparied and paralysed is now requiring 24hour care. Greenfield park are providing the 25 hr care Maureen requires. On initially admission Maureen took sometime to settle for few reasons mostly due to realising she was
not able to return home. Staff in Aberfoyle unit & the current Management made all changes to make sure Maureen settled and lives her best life possible. This offer reasurance allowing me to visit and just be Maureen's sister rather than a Carer. Adelle Rey, Margaret and Denise have made my life easier knowing tjey only have the best interest for my sister so huge thank you. x

Being the first time experiencing a family member in a care home, I am happy to say that our experience has been very positive. The staff are always there to deal with any inquiries I have. The care home is very clean, and the activities are just what my dad likes, he has made some new friends and is
very happy. If anything, I would say that a few more staff members would make the residents not wait too long to be tended to.

What a lovely, welcoming place.
Every single staff member is just so understanding, they listen, nothing is a bother, anything we ask, they work very hard and still have time to have such a caring manner. It is so reassuring for us. The nurses are there, and each and every one are so so nice. Anything
we ask, they cannot do enough for you. Thank you so much.

My mum arrived at the home on 23/1/26, both my sister and I were full of worry and anxiety about her move, however these were soon put to rest! The staff explained everything to us and readily reassured us with mums transition into her new environment. After just one week, my mum looked like a new woman,
hair all blow dried, new clothes. We didn't recognise her. I cannot thank the staff enough for the comfort they have brought to us in just two weeks.
