Greenfield Park Care Home

I can't begin to put into words the relief I feel knowing how well my husband is cared for. His communication has been extremely poor since he arrived just over a year ago. The staff still know him so well. They spend so much time catering to all his needs. They contact me regularly to update me on
everything that is happening. They are so attentive and are always striving to make sure he has the best equipment and appointments for everything and anything that could improve his quality of life. When he lived on his own with carers attending his flat I spent every day worrying how he was coping. The staff here have lifted every bit of stress of my whole family. Whenever I come to visit he is dressed, washed and his room is immaculate and inviting. It looks so homely. The staff have created an environment that feels warm and welcoming and there are rooms for the residents to sit together and enjoy each others company as well as have their own space. I am so grateful we have this space.

Always welcomed at any time. Never have to worry about phoning ahead to say we are coming. My brother-in-law has the highest quality of care and in my eyes a second family in the Westerfield unit. We could not be happier with the communication we receive and how well they know their residents. I couldn't
ask for more.

I was concerned about my sister transferring to a new nursing home, as I was worried that the transition would be very difficult for her. However, the staff have been amazing in helping her to settle in. They are always friendly and update you on her progress when we visit. The nursing home itself is
spotlessly clean. My sister is always treated with respect. I am more than happy with the service.

My relative is always clean and tidy and happy when we go in to see him. The staff are very helpful and informative when we ask about his care. The staff are always happy and upbeat making for a good atmosphere. I have one concern about communication with the home by phone. Most of the time when we
phone no-one answers and this is very concerning when he has been ill.

My mother (age 93) is very well looked after. All staff are very caring and attentive to her needs. Together, they provide a family of support. Communication with my own family is timely and considerate. Staff actively seek out opportunities for residents to enjoy. Birthdays are celebrated and all staff
contribute well. Overall, I'm very happy with my mother's care and know she is well looked after.

Mum was a resident in Greenfield Park and received amazing care. The staff are lovely and always had a smile on their faces when we came to visit, which put us at ease. We couldn't thank them enough for everything they did. This includes the kitchen domestic activities management and front of house.
The home was nice and tidy, which isn't easy. We viewed a lot of care homes, and Greenfield was modern, clean, and had a lovely atmosphere. The pub area they have is fantastic. Sadly, mum passed away, and the team was there for me and the family. I honestly can't thank them enough; they even said we are welcome to visit at any time and not to be a stranger, which was a lovely touch. We have shared our experience with friends and family and will always recommend the care home to anyone in need. You made the most difficult choice I have had so easy, and I am glad we picked Greenfield to care for Mum.

This was my mum's second time in respite. We were so delighted when we were told that Mum could come back to Wyndford Locks. All the staff and carers treat the residents as if they are family. Mum has enjoyed her time here again. I can't thank everyone enough for the care & attention given to Mum during

My wife spent 550 days in your home with severe physical and cognitive difficulties which required 24/7 care. She was confined to bed and was unable to perform her basic needs. Above all she required tender loving care and that was what she was always given. Great attention was given to her personal
hygiene and clothing. Throughout her entire stay I never once thought of making a complaint of any sort. I will always be happy to recommend your home.

My mother died two days ago and she was a resident there for about 18 months.
She was well looked after by the carers and nurses and in fact by all the staff.
I recommend the home 100% without any problem.
She was treated with respect dignity by everyone.
Its a huge step to put any member of a family
into full time care but quayside will take away any fears of this, they will look after the family member like they were there own family. I would not hesitate or recommend this home..
I was with my mum when she died at quayside and it was very peaceful and so comforting to know that even after she passed on, this was completed and done with so much peace and love afterwards.. Thankyou to all the staff, nurses, carers, laundry staff, cleaners, maintenance staff, I knew them all my name as I was up there 6 days a week.. Can't fault anyone.. Thankyou so much for all your love and respect you gave me and mum daily. Xx

Absolute disgrace my mother was put in for intermediate care after leaving hospital. we were told so many contradictory things regarding her health. Her leg became swollen we were told she was put on anti biotics. She fell out of bed the doc was called and said her injuries were superficial. She could
walk with a zimmer but then became immobile. Told her blood sugars were at 6 she was bluelighted from there today in the ambulance. Se were told by the paramedics that they are called out on a regular basis also her blood sugars are at 42 she has type2 diabetes I alerted the staff to how bad she looked on Tuesday and how ill she felt the same inept doctor came out and gave her antibiotics seemingly its a chest infection. Anytime we asked about her personal care which has rapidly went downhill we were told she refused it and it would amount to abuse if forced, hadnt been washed in weeks but all of a sudden when she became ill She was showered. I wouldn't put an animal in here STAY CLEAR

My dad was a resident at Greenfield Park Care Home Oakly Unit for 2 and a half years during which time he was well looked after by all the staff. He has good communication with carers, cleaners, kitchen staff. Even though he had vascular dementia, he enjoyed some activities when they took him to George
Square at Christmas and a trip to Falkirk wheel. I couldn't fault the staff at all especially the nurse who my dad used to have a lot of banter with over his wallet. Unfortunately my dad passed away on 2nd February 2025 although I have been back in to clear his room not once have I heard from any management.

Beaton House has been renovated and is bright and freshly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. We all wish the best for our family members and hope they are looked after with kindness and sensitivity. In discussions with staff members and what I experienced during my visits, I am confident
that many of the staff care for the residents as they would wish their own family members to be cared for. I hope the staff can continue to do the best they can do to look after our loved ones.

My papa lived at Alisa Craig Care Home for nearly 6 years. The care he was given was second to none. The love and compassion he and we as a family were given will never be forgotten. The staff in all departments are supportive and friendly and make you feel welcome within the home. We cannot thank Millport
House enough; they made us feel at ease with our Papa living within the care home. He loved the staff, and they loved him, and that's all we could ask for. They had his best interest at heart, and no words can be given to show how grateful we really are. They are all amazing at what they do and would recommend the home to everyone.
Thanks again for everything, yous will never be forgotten.

The care my elderly aunt is receiving at Ailsa Craig is very good. There are many activities organised including exercises to maintain her strength. The staff are always friendly and attentive.
The event's organiser is brilliant with a variety of fun activities. In addition, the qualified nurse always
updates me on my aunt's medical care. The team as a whole really seem to care about the residents well being.
The room has a nice outlook and is of good size but would benefit from some redecoration.
