So far excellent, my mother has been there since 8th July 2025 so not long, but already easy to give a glowing report. When we were shown around at the end of our visit I asked the member of staff if she would have her mother stay there, and she answered straight away "yes".
Prior to my mother moving
in, taking care of her with alzheimer's was challenging to say the least, in every way, her safety, her medication and medical needs.
Now our family have total peace of mind in every way. The home is spotlessly clean, the staff are kind and amazing, the food is faultless, all in all fabulous. I have just visited my mother and had to comment on how great she looks, I believe thats all down to the staff and environment thats she's in. Many thanks keep up the great work.

Rivendell View

My Mum stayed at Rivendell for approximately 7 weeks after a very poor discharge from hospital having double pneumonia. She had been a very fit lady prior to hospital admission walking easily a couple of miles a day and required no help with self care or in her home.
She was not mobilised during her
hospital stay and when discharged came to my home in Nottingham out of her county of Lincolnshire. It was soon very apparent that she needed more support and care than I could provide to maintain her safety and rehab.
My Mum had given up but agreed to a stay at Rivendell. All I can say is that the wonderful care she received was remarkable and she literally was brought back to life, her mood and mobility improved so by quickly.
She subsequently came out so much stronger, stayed for another couple of weeks with me in Nottingham, where her independence continued to improved resulting in her being able to return home. Without Rivendell she would not have been able to do this, amazing. Thank you

My father was in need of residential care when his PA moved out of his locality. I and my sisters were expecting that dad would resist residential care, preferring to stay in his own home. We explained that this could not happen due to his increasing support needs and also the fact that his personal
funds could no longer support 24/7 care in his own home. We explained that we would need to sell his house to fund future care costs. I contacted a care directory whom I had used in the past - they duly sent me a shortlist of homes in our chosen locality. I contacted Fairway View - they personally dropped a brochure off at my house, I arranged an initial visit on the Thursday, arranged a visit with dad on the Friday and he loved it from that moment on. No one was more surprised than the family! he has been at Fairway View since mid July, has made friends with other residents, says the staff are lovely and can't do enough for him, and (very important to dad) the food is excellent.

We had a little party for dad's 88th birthday at Berry Hill Park Care Home. The staff were amazing, helping us to plan and cater for a small family group, and supporting us by making a delicious birthday cake and decorating the room. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a lovely time celebrating
with dad. We very much appreciated the care and attention to detail provided by the staff.

The excellent facilities offered by Rivendale is exceptional. The cleanliness and hygiene standard

Almost a year ago we were struggling to find a nursing home for my Husband who is under 65 and has complex dementia care needs. The management at Berry Hill did everything they could to support him and the family with a smooth transfer from his other dementia care home. Since then he has been looked
after incredibly well despite the challenging demands and needs required for his care. All of the staff at the home are very friendly and helpful - some of which have been there a long time and love working at the home. It is very much a family orientated environment with plenty of activities which are differentiated for those in their care. The food is wonderful! There is a good variety each day and the quality of the menus and food is second to none. My Husband is treated with the respect he deserves for someone younger in a care home and his dignity is protected at all times. The management are easily accessible and always happy to chat and review any care needs.

My husband had 4 weeks respite care in Bowbridge Court where he was extremely well looked after. He went in as an emergency due to recovering from double pneumonia and struggling to walk. The staff encouraged him (with patience) to walk and join in the activities, which he came to enjoy. The cleanliness
and the food were extremely good, also the laundry dept kept his clothes clean. He always looked nice when I visited. He was treated with kindness and nothing was too much trouble from the staff.
