The care home have been superb and have really looked after my mum. Can't thank them enough.
My mum has been in the home since end of October 2024. I find the home to be a warm, caring and friendly environment, with both staff and residents being happy and content alike. I enjoy my visits which are random times and days and always welcoming, not just seeing my mum but I engage with other residents is really marvellous, a credit to the staff and managers. Great feel is had by all including visitors. I am very happy as it is a hard decision to make but really pleased with Springwater Lodge.
I always find all the staff as very friendly and helpful. They care about the residents and their welfare even when things are difficult.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the gentle and dignified care they are currently providing my dad, who is on palliative care. The staff make me feel supported at this difficult time and keep me fully informed, answering all of my questions. I have complete peace of mind, knowing my dad is safe and comfortable and am grateful to the team for everything they do!
I have no qualms about my husband living there as I know he is well looked after, warm and safe throughout the coldest of conditions.
In my opinion the care home is excellent in all areas. The staff are caring, thoughtful and professional. The home provides a friendly but secure environment wtih lots of stimulas for the residents. The staff are friendly and approachable and happy. They have a wide range of issues to cope with, but do so in a calm and caring manner. We have every confidence in the home and that it is providing my relative with the best environment.
My mother seems really settled here, very happy. She is really well looked after, she is always clean and tidy. All the staff are caring and helpful, nothing seems too much trouble. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents occupied. I would recommend this care home to anyone. Keep up the good work.
My wife has been a resident now for 19 months at Springwater Lodge. During this time the transition period was very difficult due to her dementia and thanks to the team Springwater she is now much more settled and her care just gets better. Furthermore, team Springwater care goes above and beyond the lodge itself! Helping family members with their support and well being by giving back their quality of life. Thank you for your ongoing support and care team Springwater!
My dad's care has been exceptional. The respect, empathy, love and kindness shown by all staff has given our family confidence and peace, knowing that Dad is safe and very content. Staff are always kind and welcoming, we have been included and kept informed well of any changes in his needs. We have been listened to and valued.
Dad has settled in nicely and likes it here.
I would like to thank the team at Springwater Lodge Care Home. The care you provided to my mother was second to none. You were caring, compassionate, respectful, approachable, and extremely professional. The support you also provided us as family and our friends helped us manage this difficult time. I could not recommend this Home any higher. My mother had end-of-life care and the team were so sensitive to this, even to the point of her final hours whereby they had carers sat in her bedroom to ensure she wasn't on her own. They ensured my mother was comfortable and not in pain. They offered us regular drinks and would always check in with us. If we had any concerns the staff listened and checked my mother over. In her bedroom, she had fresh drinks regularly for us and the staff to provide her. They also have an activity team who wanted to look at what my mother would have liked, for example, the radio on and to play classical music. Overall it's a fantastic care home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a positive review of our home and please accept our sincere condolences to you and your family. We are pleased you were very happy with the quality of care your mother received at Springwater Lodge care home, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We will ensure your kind words are shared with the team. Thank you again.
She settled into life at Springwater like a second family, enjoying the activities on offer and making good and loving friendships.
Although she had to spend longer than any of us wanted in hospital towards the end, we're immensely comforted that we managed to get her back to Springwater for her last few days, where she was afforded kindness, dignity, and respect. Mum was clearly relieved to be back there and we will be forever grateful for the comfort and peacefulness of her passing, and for the love shown to both her and us by all the staff.

The company should be very proud of the management and staff at this home.
We'd like to take a moment to thank you for leaving such a wonderful review of our home. We are pleased to hear you were very happy with the quality of care your Aunt one received at Springwater Lodge, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. Kind words like these are a testament to the hard...
The care home is always bright and clean. The staff are friendly and approachable. The resident has been in for several months and has been well cared for, especially with incontinence and skin care. He is given excellent meals and has a choice each day. We are also informed if any incidents occur. All levels of the team work hard and do a good job.
Unfortunately, his health rapidly deteriorated while in the hospital's care. However, his experience at Springwater Lodge could not have been more different, by the time my husband was nearly at the end of his life the staff were continuously sensitive to his needs. The care overall was truly excellent. I too felt nurtured and valued in this wonderful regime with staff so committed to high-quality practice and humanistic values - elements so rare in 21st century Britian. Thank you!
If I should need to go into a care home in the future I would be confident and happy to return to Springwater Lodge.
Open visiting is very convenient and positive and we have always been made to feel very welcome. All staff have been very open and honest when discussing my mother's well-being.
There had been some issues with the care home standards, especially over the weekends, in the summer of 23; however, processes have been put into place. The staff have been trained, the culture has turned around, and the staff morale has visibly improved.
My mum's passing was made so much gentler with the kind and supportive staff and the manager. Nothing was too much trouble.
Once we had decided we wanted Mum to be moved to Springwater Lodge for palliative care, the manager acted very quickly and efficiently to help with the transfer. As a family, we are so pleased that Mum was able to have her final 36 hours in such a warm and homely environment.
Thank you so much to all of you.
All staff are very welcoming and approachable and go out of their way to make all the residents feel safe and content, and their needs are appropriately cared for. Relatives are kept up to date on their relative's overall well-being. Residents are encouraged to join in the activities provided to promote social interaction.
