When I first came to visit Chaseview, I knew it was the right place for Mum. Since she has been here, she treats it like home & the staff arw all like family. Lately mum has been moved off residential onto nursing due to her health deteriorating rapidly. All the staff here are very welcoming, friendly
& empathetic, nothing is too much trouble & they all go over and above with the care & support for mum and myself. They are like a 2nd family.

My mom was at Himley Mill for almost 2 years. The staff there are fantastic. I cannot fault anyone who looked after my mom. They all operate with care, respect, love & kindness. I knew that Mom was in the best hands and was very well looked after & safe. The staff would keep in touch with me & were
always very helpful. I couldn't have wished for a better home & better care for my mom - who had vascular dementia. Huge thanks to you all. xx

My mother has been in this care home for nine months and is extremely happy to be there. The staff are very attentive and are always willing to help with anything my mom needs. Recently they took the residents to a village hall, where they were entertained by singers and had food, etc, etc. Mom was
ecstatic about the whole experience and couldn't wait to tell us all about it when we visited. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Himley Mill to anyone 100%.

Littleton Lodge

Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum has been a resident at Littleton Lodge for just over a year, so it would now seem fitting to share my thoughts on the care that she receives.
After a particularly stressful time living at home, Mum is now in an environment where she is cared for with love, compassion, and dignity.
I cannot speak
highly enough of the fantastic team that support her in her day to day life and that have the ability to take away her anxieties by the holding of her hand, a reassuring word, or just making her favourite drink - the small things really do make a difference and knowing those things leads to exceptional care !
The Leadership Team at Littleton Lodge have always been approachable, available and responsive, but most importantly they genuinely care about their residents.
I am now confident that Mum is living her best life in a place that she calls home.

On the whole our experience has been very positive. We have few little niggles, missing clothes, we appreciate it's a nightmare managing returning laundry, to three separate buildings. I chose to do the laundry myself.
My sister in law is generally happy and well cared for. Our main desire.
Her room
is nicely decorated and very pleasant. A comfortable environment.
The staff are lovely my sister in law loves them.
The food is generally of a good standard, my sister in law often makes some unusual choices. We appreciate it's her prerogative. It often causes hilarity. Every little helps.
Generally it's a thumbs up from us. Well done Chestnut Himley Mill.

My mom has just been collected from Himley Mill, after staying for 1 week's respite. She is a strong-headed woman and didn't want to go. She has had a lovely time in there. She has been very well looked after & really liked all the staff. She said they were all so very kind to her. We will definitely
ask for another respite for my mom.
Thank you so much Himley Mill.

From the very start, and it is nearly a year here, this home has been very welcoming, giving off a lovely atmosphere. My overall experience is that I leave Mom here with complete confidence in her being looked after by excellent staff in lovely, stimulating surroundings. The comms are excellent from
them, the food and provision of the home is well maintained, spotless and run very efficiently. I could not have chosen better.

My mother in law was on willow with dementia for the last months of her life the staff were always caring and friendly with family and my mother in law. Could be more activities for dementia residents that was the only fault we had .and sometimes it seemed short staffed on some days. I would recommend

I would highly recommend Coopers Croft to anyone. My husband has dementia and renal sarcoidosis, so has multiple needs. These are being met on all fronts with efficiency, kindness, humour and knowledge of every resident's specific needs. Food is to a resident's taste. Another excellent thing is that
they encourage residents to become as independent as possible. They keep me informed immediately of any problems or need for in-depth information.

If there were an award to be given, it should go to the manager and all of their staff. Myself and family would like to thank them for their love and care they give my husband, he was been there for almost 2 years now, this entitled me to go on holiday with my 2 sons and their family, which I have not
done for many years, because I know he is looked after. He has a specialist chair for the home, he is comfortable, this has made his life a lot better, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
