Chaseview Care Home, situated just outside the town of Burntwood, four miles west of Lichfield in Staffordshire, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing and residential dementia care.

Recently refurbished, Chaseview offers residents the choice of three sitting rooms and three dining areas, all specially furnished to provide a homely and comfortable environment. Bedrooms are well presented and offer residents a safe and private space to call their own. To help them to settle in, residents are encouraged to bring along their own things to personalise their bedrooms.

Across the home, each and every member of the professional care team is on hand to support residents, from the settling in process to when they've well and truly found their stride in the Chaseview lifestyle, they go above and beyond to ensure residents are happy, engaged and comfortable.

From the very start, and it is nearly a year here, this home has been very welcoming, giving off a lovely atmosphere. My overall experience is that I leave Mom here with complete confidence in her being looked after by excellent staff in lovely, stimulating surroundings. The comms are excellent from
them, the food and provision of the home is well maintained, spotless and run very efficiently. I could not have chosen better.

If there were an award to be given, it should go to the manager and all of their staff. Myself and family would like to thank them for their love and care they give my husband, he was been there for almost 2 years now, this entitled me to go on holiday with my 2 sons and their family, which I have not
done for many years, because I know he is looked after. He has a specialist chair for the home, he is comfortable, this has made his life a lot better, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and care in the home. Mom only spent 10 days being cared for in the home. In that time she was cherished by staff who were nursing her as she came to end of life. They kept her comfortable, additionally, my sister and I were made to feel so welcome and
encouraged to spend as much time as we wanted with her. We were made to feel part of the family and they cared for us too, ensuring we were comfortable, fed and watered! Every member of staff treated us like family. We are so grateful. Mom died peacefully, with us present. A dignified, loving and special experience. Sensitively handled.

My father was taken into dementia care in May to Chaseview. We didn’t know what to expect and am pleased that he has settled in very well. His needs are tailored to him as an individual and the staff and management fully appreciate that each person is individual. The activity staff are joyful, the caring
staff attentive, the cleaners efficient, and the management approachable. My father has a cracking sense of humour but finds it difficult to get to know people as he is shy, the team have given him time and assurance and he is now coming out of his shell. Thank you Chaseview.

The home is brilliant overall. Staff are always warm and welcome to visitors, the home is always very clean everywhere! My grandmother has been residing in Chaseview Care Home for less than twelve months but we have never had any concerns to express. My grandmother chooses to spend a lot of her time
in her room but the staff appear very attentive to this, she is never short of refreshments and staff members checking in on her. The facilities at the home are second to none, even having their own cafe for service users to spend time with family and friends. After having a long career in health care, I could not recommend this home enough. My grandmother is always very happy, clean and cared for.

Introducing Jenny Khadoo

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


“For me, it’s seeing and treating each person as an individual and delivering personalised care with respect and compassion.”


As a Registered Nurse, Jenny has gained over thirty years’ experience in the care sector, providing care and support to older people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care for every Resident at Chaseview.


Having worked at Chaseview previously, Jenny joined as Home Manager because closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her experience to motivate her team to deliver care and support in a way that Residents gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby nurseries, schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Chaseview.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Jenny remarked:


“I enjoy everything about my role, but mostly spending time with Residents and ensuring the home is continuously improving.”


In her spare time, Jenny loves to spend quality time with her loved ones on days out or holidays together, she also adores her beautiful grandchildren.
