As for the manager never seen her at all not very good public relations for new residents, time for a change I think.
Thank you for your comments regarding our staff being very good and our overall standard being excellent, the Home Manager strives to ensure that the Home is run to high standards. Regarding the shortage of staff, I would like to assure you that the Nursing Unit is adequately staffed and our...

No complaints!
In my experience mum is well looked after, the staff are attentive, approachable and friendly. We haven't had any issues with bed sores and considering mum has been here since 2010 I think it's marvellous and a tribute to the care that she's getting. It's generally tidy around the home both public and private spaces.
My Nan has been living at Chase View for a few months now and is happy and settled, she loves the staff and enjoys the activity's provided. She is eating much better now due to the great choice of food, her bedroom is lovely and always looks clean and well kept thank you to all the staff for your time and effort.
The care and attention of all of the staff enabled us to go away on holiday knowing that she was safe and looked after.
I am lucky in the fact that I don't need much assistance in regards to a lot of help.
The staff are very helpful.
Thank you for your kind feedback regarding the staff at the Home. We have discussed the call bells recently and I understand that you are happy that the calls are being answered in a timely manner and happy with the care overall.
My father was placed at Chaseview for respite. He was very anxious, as we were also anxious about leaving him, however, all fears were allayed and we had a lovely holiday and my dad also enjoyed it when he settled in. Thanks to an excellent lot of staff.
My mother has been a resident for one month and so far we are very pleased with the service. Contact with members of staff has been positive and helpful. We feel fully informed of mothers condition. Staff have reacted promptly to changes in her health, and have responded to her needs and preferences. We feel care has been shown to visitors and the visiting experience has been good.
Very well-run home, plenty of activities to interest residents.
Good food, very caring staff who keep residents as the first priority.
Relatives participate in monthly meetings with senior staff.
I had reservations placing Mom into a home but it's been the best move for all. She has company and I have peace of mind that she is safe and cared for.
Chase View has a warm and friendly atmosphere, the rooms are comfy and clean and food is good. The best thing about Chase View is the staff, they are always cheerful, caring and friendly to both residents and visitors. They seem to go the extra mile even when time is short. Good entertainment is provided for the residents, giving them mind stimulation. Fab.
Everything about the place is top class.
I should know, I visit every day.
My mother became a resident in October 2017. We have found all of the staff polite and obliging. Mum's room is kept clean and tidy as is she. There is a good variety of food throughout the day. There is a good variety of entertainment for residents who wish to partake.
Nan recently became a resident and all of the carers are very kind and caring. Staff are informative and always available to answer questions.
I have always felt welcome when I came to visit. The staff are very friendly and approachable.
This home was beautiful when my mum was admitted in 2013 but over the years has gone downhill due to staff shortages. Then when put in the hands of CQC it picked up but now that the home is full to capacity (Nursing Part) we are back where we started. Also, would it be possible to sterilize the beakers as they are filthy?
That's why we visit as much as possible to keep an eye.
Mam is well cared for and is kept clean and tidy. She enjoys having her hair done every week at the on site hairdresser who again is very friendly.
As Mam has deteriorated with Alzheimer's, her care needs have changed but the carers response has been excellent and I feel sure that they will continue to help her with her daily needs as the weeks go by.
The home itself is always clean and very pleasant with many areas for families to meet up and have a coffee. The dining area is very pleasant and the food always smells tempting. Overall I am very pleased and happy with the care my mam receives
All rooms are excellent apart from Mam's bedroom which has needed decorating for four years.
We are very happy that you are pleased with the care we provide, thank you for your nice comments which will be passed on to the team.
With regards to decorating your Mams room, the Home Manager has looked into this and it will undertaken as soon possible.
Very good overall, but sometimes lack of staff.
Considering we have no official manager at present, the staff are still performing well and very much engaging in our mum and the residents.
